Vranješ played full 90 minutes for the first and last time for Croatia tonight. To depict how he played I'll just say that I hope he starts for Werder in Zagreb.

Martin Harnik came as a substitute for Austria and scored
the 1-1 equalizer against Czech Republic with a dream goal.

btw: Great thread idea, OLH. :)

Diego had a great 20 minutes or so for Brazil...multiple chances...one was a shot that was saved, and Ronaldinho scored on the rebound

Saw that, Diego should have put that away though.

Diego played only the last 5 minutes against the US yesterday. But as long as he stays away from the injury list its alright.
Sanogo rejected to play for Ivory Coast to totally recover from his foot injury.
Petri Pasanen played the full 90 minutes for Finland on the rightback position and was the best man in his team! Dusko Tosic played the first half for Serbia and seems to have had a good game too, although being substituded for tactical reasons in the second half. Our two Danes weren't that good for denmark and had luck not to lose.Their opponent Sweden was absolutely superior although Markus Rosenberg (unsurprisingly) didn't play. Daniel Jensen got his second yellow card and is suspended for the next game.
Finally our germans were all succesful except Kevin Schindler. He lost with Germany U20 against Austria U20 0:1. Mertesacker won in Wales 2:0 and had a great performance! Sebastian Boenisch won with Germany U21 3:0 at North Ireland.

Markus Rosenberg scored Sweden's first goal in which they won 1-2 during an international friendly in Montenegro
