what did you do for your 21st birthday.

The only idea i am opposed to is spending money on a party, for other ********ers to eat my food and drink my liquor.

Also remember, we dont all live wealthy lives so no spontaneous trip accross the qworld.

Rent a school bus ..get like 15-20 friends and it's like 10-15 per person take it into your city and go bar hopping ..

i just got a small group of friends together and went to some bars near my school. started early and ran into lots of people I knew at each bar. it was a fun drunken blur.

My best friend from elementary school took me out on sixth street in Austin. Strangers were buying us drinks when they realized it was my 21st (and not the creepy losers who usually would offer us drinks), and we ended up with a huge bar-hopping troop of friends and total strangers by the end of the night. Go out on your 21st to bars/clubs/whatever; it really is fun. (And I'm usually not much for bars, even back then, tbh).

How did you like Austin? I've been twice and had a blast both times. I'd imagine that's a pretty wild place for a 21st.

I went to visit friends at UT a couple of times in high school, and I think the only time I've been since then was on that birthday. It was a fun place to party and a great little city by night, but I haven't been around there too much in the light of day. :D There are alot of Austin/UT transplants where I live now; they all love it.

Benni when is your bday by the way? I turn 21 on Monday. To be honest, it's a bit anticlimatic for me. I didn't get to hang out with my classmates for most of college since I had no good fake, so back then I was hyping up my 21st. Now that it's 5 days away, I could care less.

To top it off, I was depressed on Friday night and got completely blasted, took 14 hours to recover, and am now in one of those 2-week long "I'll never drink liquor again" periods. I plan on going to one or 2 bars, getting my free shot, and going to bed.

I'm a real old man these days.

That being said, I have no intention of spending a dime in all this. I have enough friends who decided to stick around to have a decent time.

I finally drank for the first yestorday time since my incident in Israel. Didnt touch anything for a month!

Or better yet, go alone, have some drinks, hook up, and don't worry about ever having to see any of those people again.

I was the last one of my group of friends to turn 21, as such I missed out on buying drinks for their birthdays. To make up for it, and because I'm such a sweetheart (ask SirManc) I bought a keg and had my friends over to drink free before we hit the bars.

Obviously got my drinks at the bar for free and it was a fun night as well.
