Rooney is out and so is Hargy. I think Rio is in. What effect if any do you see this international scenario having on our much maligned team?

I believe he is referring to the ' Man U' part. folks equate that to 'Manure' which I don't quite understand

It's just a wind up, don't worry about it. But I wouldn't suggest using Man U ever again.

It's just one of those things you're not allowed to say on the internets.

Say it three times, and Vermont Red magically appears.

I've given it up, that and a certain other phrase. My fingers are sore. I need to save my strength for posts with extra verve.

Tell me what the other phrase is and I will make sure not to say it..........

And to the mod who fixed the post title, thank you. Buy you a pint the next time you are in town.........

The internationals will actually provide a chance for some players to gain some fitness under supervision. A bit of a break will serve us well.

As for the Man U stuff - Sky and BBC pundits say Man U all the damn time, as do many many people. Would you rather we all type Man Yoo like F365? Get over it.

Once you've used this site longer, noob, you'll know that the quality of journalism on this site is higher than that of Sky and BBC.

We're fair and balanced here at BS.

Newbies (shaking my head) what is your join date Aug 2007??? Us veterans (dont laugh) will just have to show you the ropes (I crack me up!)

As far as the int. matches go we are back playing come Saturday so I dont relish the fitness argument per se. I am worried about injuries though........ Rio could pick up a knock for example or Tevez (does anyone know if he will be in Argentina for the midweek break?)

Let's just hope nothing happens as SAF clearly does not know the meaning of contingency plans..........

See, the whole purpose of F365 is to make fun of teams which have touchy fans cue the continued baiting of Liverpool fans. We are always called Manure/ManYoo by F365 but everyone else is made fun of too.

As for their opinion pieces, they are generally pretty decent. They are probably the only dedicated footballing journalistic website that still thinks we are not in crisis yet.

Oh I agree about them making fun of touchy fans...and their opinion pieces are often very well written and holistic. No knee jerk reactions there.

Anyway, re: fitness and internationals..

Yeah my main concern is that Rio might pick something up. Tevez is not playing for Argentina, which is good. The game might do him some good but the travelling and risk would not, not to mention it'd be a mental distraction taking him away from the focus on developing his style and communication with his teammates.

Right now that communication and time together training is key, as our movement and passing in the final 3rd needs to be just a hair better.

It's bad in the sense that I hope the players were wanting to right the wrongs, so to speak, of the last three matches and get on with it. I'd hope that they are frustrated with how things have gone so far and want to put things right as soon as possible.

It's good in the sense that certain injured players get further time to sort themselves out but it still means that they face coming back into the team with no match practice/sharpness. As we're not exactly flowing at the moment, their integration into the team worries me a little.

Can't see much training on collective team tactics being done with quite a few being away. Mixed feelings on how it might effect (or is it affect  always get them mixed up) us.

So who is confirmed as being away on international duty. I guess Ferdinand and Carrick. Anyone else?
