Lets continue our fine form and take three points on the road. Defense as usual will be the key to winning this game. Arsenal has some weapons up front, but Richards and Dunne looking in top form could give Arsenal problems. This win would be massive! Any thoughts?

Greetings Man City fans - Looking forward to playing against a team who play football (unlike blackburn) no need to park the bus though . Lets just have it.
Good luck.

Yup. That looks like a great team, and one that plays well together .. Maybe Didi could force his way into the team if Ireland is still sick, or to control Arsenals midfield ?

I think that's the formation Sven will most likely go for, To curb Arsenals Midfield, while still having our own attacking power !

Just out of curiosity, do you guys not think of Corradi as a viable attacking option anymore?
If Man City even manages a draw in the Emirates, it would be a stunning achievenment for them. I'm not underestimating City or anything but playing a big 4 team in its home ground will NOT be easy.
I'm thinking the game will finish 0-0, Arsenal will keep possession for the majority of the game but will not score, due to its inability to finish and City's tight defense. City will attempt occasional counterattacks but will not be lucky as they were against Man U.

Only if you park the bus for first 30 like most other team, should be a good game.
In order, Our attacking options go something like this
1. Bianchi
2. Geovanni (If you consider him as a Second Striker, Otherwise he is a midfielder)
3. Bojinov
4. Mpenza
5. Sturridge
6. Samaras/Corradi/Vassel
Hope that explains it somewhat. Bojinov would be #2, But is injured for seemingly half the season.

Corradi (Napoli - Rumour) and Vassel (Derby - Possible) may soon be gone. Guti (Real Madrid - Probable) may come in to strengthen our options, however.
I would also include Elano and Corluka in at 6/7 (removing Bojinov and moving Samaras down to 8) as our opportunistic weapons.

I did hear about Guti, I just don't see it happening. He goes from being vice-captain of Real to playing for City, a side dancing with relegation last year. I'd think he'd be great but we'll have to him pay some rediculous real salery. But if sven can pull it off, more power to him. He plays d, he passes well, the whole 9.

Corradi isn't even on our radar as far as playing time goes. IMO, Corradi is already one foot out the door back to Italy, he is a nice guy and all he just didn't produce for us, same with Sam if we can get a large transfer fee for him I would take it.

This seems the likely formation, I wouldn't mind this one either. I feel like Geo, Elano, and Petrov could give their defenders some trouble playing service in for Bianchi. Johnson and Hamann sweeping in front of the back four may get us out of there nick free. We will just have to see, I am looking forward to the match. Oh how I missed my City football!

I still think Ireland should start solely because he's gonna play a touch more D, Geo (even tho he's got two goals). And against Arsenal, 6 in the back will probably not be enough.

Ireland is sick and just started training again today. Sven will probably rest him.
