A Slew of National Call Ups

We have 12 players out on National team duty this week. After reading an article from the City website they described Bojinov's injury as "the horrific looking and as yet undiagnosed injury to Valeri Bojinov keeps him out of the Bulgarian squad for their friendly with Wales." :(

Anyone catching any of these games? Hopefully, this wont affect our fatigue andd focus level too much going into the Arsenal game this weekend. Almost our entire starting 11 is out on National team duties.

It's good to see our boys getting called up to represent their respective sides. I'd rather have the problem of fatigue as our players get called up, than deal with the problem of none of our players beeing good enough to play for their national side :)

Oh yea, I would definitely put this in the category of "a welcome worry." I am delighted most of our boys are playing at a National team level. Just goes to show you how good we really are this year.

I just learned that Elano has been called into the Brazil squad that will be playing in the States on Sept 9 and 12. I have tickets to the Sept 12 game. :)

Well, Elano looked pretty sharp, at least until he got sent off about 20 minutes after coming on.
