News just in that Rob styles, has been told he cannot referee games in the premiership anymore.
This really is a shock but has this been a good decision to sack him.

Moved to Premiership Forum.

Also, I believe he's not reffing anything this weekend but I don't believe he's been sacked.

i heard he was given the "red card" on a news bullitin but maybe he has not been sacked, and only temporarily.

Deserves everything that comes his way after that display. Sometimes you can defend the ref, saying well he's only human and errors will be made but he made far too many errors yesterday. A massive game only two matches in and he bottled it big-time. Three yards away from and incident everyone from rows A-ZZ could see clearly and he got it completely wrong. If a player does something wrong they get suspended, why not make the referees answerable for their mistakes.

It's not uncommon for an official that makes a glaring mistake to not be involved in the next set of matches. The assistant referee from the Fulham game has also been "rested".

Styles is a complete idiot. Every time I see he's about to referee a game either on TV or when I'm there in person I expect him to do something stupid like the penalty yesterday or send someone off for something innocuous. He wants to be the star of the show, nothing more or less.

Good. I think it's time that ref's were made responsible for getting decisions wrong. There are times when it's a tough call and you can't balme the ref, but there was clearly (even without a replay) no contact on Malouda.

no contact on Malouda.

finally someone who shares the same view as i do!

There are some Chelsea fans who care to dissagree on this by saying "Finnan put his body in the way" which is ridiculous.

Whilst I'm not going to claim that it was a penalty at all, the idea that there was 'no contact' is genuinely retarded.

obviously Finnan and Malouda touched each other, but it wasnt as though Finnan pushed Malouda over, Malouda just ran into him and a tumbled like a pile of bricks

Yawn... when things touch. You know.. contact. The word contact. What contact means. Prick.

firstly, why did you ask me the question, beiing that i already know what the word means.

secondly, there was no need to ask the question anyway, we both know there was contact between finnan and malouda, but nothing serious to cause a penatly.

thirdly, can we forget this stupid thing and move on

You quoted a post that said there was no contact and agreed with it. The fact you don't know the meaning of basic words is not my fault.
