I saw Cooper on Sports Plus on KSDK last night too, Bill McDermott was on with him. Rene Knott was interviewing them and asked about the funding, which Cooper explained, and Rene also asked "Why if I live in West County or St. Charles, would I want to drive all the way to Collinsville to see a soccer game?" McDermott answered by saying "Because this is the top level of soccer in the country and it is worth the drive if you want to see it." Or something to that effect.
More good publicity for SLSU, it is good to see the local media behind this and asking easy questions to help support the effort.
