More cogent response later, but gosh darn it. Two last minute losses in 3 games. :(

Yea, pretty much. Even pulling a point out that and I'd feel better, but geeze.

McBride out for, by Sanchez's word, MONTHS?!?!?

Ugh, what a bad injury...and he had just been named captain. Tough about Healy's injury time goal not given, it definitely looked well over the line in the replays. What is up with Warner? He plays out of his mind v. Arsenal and has now made horrible mistakes in consecutive games.

Well, it's hard to win when you tie the game and the (backup) referee doesn't notice. And it could have been a win if Dempsey doesn't miss a sitter.

But this is a game we needed to win.

obviously would have been nice to win but i try to look on the bright side of things. last year i was so sick of the team playing absolutely dreadfully then pulling out a result at the last minute. they thought they were safe at the halfway point, then didn't win a game until may.

the boys dominated this game; healy's goal didn't count (inexcusable, really), but he missed two sitters (both provided by dempsey) before that. dempsey was great, boca was commendable, and Zat Knight was solid. kamara always feels such a threat, even more so than bake. and davis showed incredible skill all afternoon. that cursed left back position lets us down again; konchesky was nowhere all afternoon. you get the occasional bit of bad luck, but the gang keep playing like this and they'll be okay.
