Dear NM,

Can you create a Man United history subforum for us? It would be a great place for more in-depth history talk, as well a great place to put all of TomClare's amazing threads.

Recent PM talk:

Hey, not sure who to write it to, but I am reading Tom Clare's threads and I am thinking it'd be great to have a history subforum so that all of his threads were easily accessible and not lost among countless transfers and other threads? Is it possible?

Actually one thing I'd been considering was creating a sticky thread at the top of the main forum full of links to Tom's threads (a thread of pointers, if you will :p).

Once the tagline poll expires, I'll unsticky it and create a thread. Going forward, a history forum is something we might consider (can't add it myself, we'd have to request an admin to do so), but Tom doesn't post all that frequently, so I'd hate to see a forum that only gets used every few months. We'll see though.

I trust that Achtung will give the people what they want.

DS and I briefly discussed this ages ago. It would be a good idea but would need the commitment of numerous people to make is feasible. Considering we lacked that when doing the all-time draft...

I for one would love to see the All time draft re-done. I really enjoyed it...it would be a great addition to the United History forum.

Same here. I didn't get a chance to participate in it the first time it was attempted but would really like to if it started over again.

Any news on this?

Are we getting one?

As NM has thus far snubbed the thread, I would assume no.

Can he do it anyway?

On the few times I've been over at the customer service section, I've noticed that they've got a place for people to request new forums/sub-forums and they seem to have a set proecedure in how it should be done. Is badgering away on here enough or would we have to go there?

Let's just tell Achtung to do it. He'll do anything.

That's what she said. :(

Wouldn't it seem a bit like we're following the Scousers though? i.e. We have no future so let's focus on our history. ;)

LOL. You're in the Friend Zone, and you'll never get out.

So is this a yes or no?

That's bizarre logic. If anything, most of us are following or interested in the club because of history and tradition. if the club didn't have its rich history, I'd be turned off given the direction the club is going now. It's the only thing keeping me sane.

It sure would be nice if the moderators addressed our issues.

Hey Achtung, what about my needs?

Will you please advise me as to what I should have for lunch.

I rather enjoyed Grimaldi's my last time in Brooklyn.

If only I worked near there. I think I told you that my condo is approximately 1/2 mile from Grimaldi's.

When you come back, we will go to Totonno's on Coney Island. (If you eat meat then we will also have to stop by Nathan's Famous for a hot dog.)
