So, I was perusing Ebay:The 2nd Reason the Internet was Invented (behind IMDB (http://www.imdb.com)) looking for a Tony Meola bobblehead that wasn't going for $30, and I happened to stumble upon this treasure from the early 90's:

Has anyone played this game? If so, please provide a review.

Man, I've never even heard of that game? Does it feature the Long Island Rough Riders?

I've had the ROM for the ZNES emulator for a handful of years now. The game has a very odd POV, it's like a 1st person POV soccer game. Wierd.

I played it briefly at a resale vid store local to KC (Funcoland). I don't remember much about it except it, wasn't anywhere near the FIFA offering at the time, and that I made a quick decision to not get it.

Was the Foot Locker coupon still in it?

UPDATE: I've found a review for this game here (http://www.ciudadfutura.com/gamesworld/snes-meola.html).
Unfortunately it's in Spanish, though "mediocre juego de futbol" is probably all you need to know.

Babelfish speaks: A mediocre game of futbol, that single has like remarkable point the perspective that gives a complete turn whenever an equipment clears the ball to him to the other so that the one that is in possession of the ball has a better panorama.

Screencaps (check those bleeding-edge graphics):

I'd bet $500 that Boston won that game. Unless of course Bo Oshoniyi was in goal...then they'd both lose.
