Erm, you don't pay for one.

You sound just like the rest of them!

lucius, how many boards do you lurk/troll on?

He didn't say anything that was trolling, just stating a fact. Like how Liverpool have gone more years without lifting the league trophy than we have weeks. ;)

Has anyone actually seen the alleged headbutt that got Ronaldo sent off?

Watching extended highlights on Sky right now, I'll chip in on it about half an hour.

This is so ********ing disappointing. It is not the end of the world yes, but this is still a horrible start, especially wiht all the expectations. I just can believe this. The thing is none of our players actually played bad. Even Ronaldo has stepped up in the 2nd half, but its just that wer not firing on all cylinders. Poeple are one step behind, shots are blocked my defenders (Ronaldo had many) itsa just so frustrating.

Last season if we got scored on and needed a goal, or if we were tied an dneeded a goal I always believed 100% that we can come back and get one, and most of the time it was a lot more then one. This season After watching the reading game and thw way were were playing I just didnt have that feeling anymore. I am sure everyone knwos what I am talking about. Its liek te players are not playing with the same confidence that they did last season and its especially with the lack of finishing we have. I feel that we truley are missing Rooney and Saha. Tevez will be great but you cant expect him to play like the bst player in England on his first game for us. Nani has been great, and so is Carrick, but I dont know its like there is something missing.

I was very angry when SAF knows we need a goal and he brings on Oshea. I love Oshea. But he is not a goal scorer (some may argue that.) Eagles needed to be brought on earlier, and its bullshit to say that Anderson is not fit enough to play for 20 minutes as a late sub. He certainly would have been a better option.

I just expected better from our team...

The only thing that kinda made me feel better was when the commentators said that the last time we tied out opening 2 games was the treble year:rolleyes:

I think the lack of a proper pre-seaosn certainly effected us and it is noticable that the whole team is a step behind. Pre-season should be a pre-seaosn not a promotional tour. And ok so if we decide to go to asia and play weaker opponents then fine, but only at the begining which was fine to bring out players confidence up and it should be only the beginiong. When we cam eback we should have played some more quality oppositions such as Inter like we did but not 2nd devisions team fromScotland or w/e

Anyone who thinks the season is over should stop posting from now until the end of the season. It only makes sense.

It looked to me as if the defender (didn't catch who it was) put his hands on either Ronnie's throat or shoved his face, but his hands were definitely high. Ronaldo pushed him off. I don't know if the defender hit the turf but Bennett had his card out before the shoving match began.

Seems to me from watching the replay that Ronaldo pushed is head in towards the defender's head but its not like he ********ing nutted him. It was all handbags at noon, but bennett was looking for a reason to send him off, he got no calls the entire game.

You make it sound like its a problem to be disappointed.

Benni, you know there's a difference between constructive criticism and the "This team is crap! The league is over! Tevez who has played with the first team exactly once is terrible what a waste of money!" crowd. You have to make that separation.

I watched the match and I couldn't see anything. Just a crowd of players then a bunch of shoving. The ref. was standing right there when it happened and had a clear view.

Yes, but it turn you guys with the sarcasm are going overboard.

Anyone know if Ronaldo can appeal his red intime for city?

Though I already know that the likelihood of an appeal of Ronaldo's card/ban being successful with the FA is zero, I'm still curious to see if we'll bother to try.
