Of course not.
But to the uninformed, misguided I guess it could have been.

Sorry, but you are preaching to the choir. For those of us who follow the USMNT, we all know that the W-L-T record is 10-28-10 all time but 5-1-1 for the last few years.

I have an eerie feeling that there are those (at least one), lurking even in the US Men's forum, who discount those very claims.

Is this a trick to lure rangers00 back? :)

Make that 2 losses. Remember the Confed. Cup. 99'

I hope not. The guy's track record speaks volumes.

5-1-1 since the '99 Confed Cup. The next match after the Confed Cup was the Tri-Pumas match. Then the B-team friendly in LA in which a bunch of US players including Donovan made their debuts. Then the Columbus match, then the loss in Azteca, and then the friendly in Denver. Finally, the World Cup round of 16. And the most recent match, in Houston, was a draw.
My opinion: it may have looked like an upset at first, but a run of 5 "upsets" in 6 matches means that maybe they aren't really upsets...

No, to the uninformed, misguided, biased, it is not an upset. There shouldn't be any "guess", "could have", "should have", "but"...
Uninformed, I know it's tough for you because nancyb closed the thread. You are missing your scheduled therapy. Don't worry...

Is North Korea's win over Italy in 1966 an upset?
Americans: of course not. North Korea is 1-0 alltime over Italy.

You should see. Where do you get 7 games? you think you can slip by me with that kind of trash? You want to talk games? Let's look at the games one by one.
Between the 1999 Confed Cup and the 2002 WC, USA and Mexico played 5 games, sort of:
6/11/2000 E. Rutherford, US Cup, USA 3 Mexico 0. That's not even the Mexican national team, but a Mexican League XI represented mostly by Pumas players, and coached by Hugo Sanchez, not Manuel Lapuente.
10/25/2000 Los Angeles, friendly USA 2 Mexico 0.
2/28/2001 Columbus, WCQ, USA 2 Mexico 0
7/1/2001 Mexico City, WCQ, Mexico 1 USA 0
4/3/2002 Denver, friendly, USA 1 Mexico 0
That's a 3-1 record, with 2 friendlies at home. And that's being generous.

Except you forget the qualifier:
"To the uniformed, misguided, and biased..."
why you left that out is left as an exercise...

If Los Angeles is really a home game for the United States, then I've got some prime seaside real estate in New Mexico to sell you.

Whether it's *really* a home game for the U.S., it is still a home game for the U.S. As far as I know, Los Angeles is not under Mexican sovereignty.
And I am not buying your real estate in New Mexico.
Now what?

What are you still here for? You admitted it wasn't an upset.

I see your reading comprehension is weak. I said:
"played 5 games, sort of"
Of course, you have no clue what "sort of" means.

You lied. I admit that it wasn't an upset for the uninformed, misguided and biased, which is your life motto.
And I know you are upset because you got shutout by nancyb in the last thread. Do you need extra therapy sessions?

you listed 5 games, with results, and came up with a 3-1 record. Nice job.
You lied. All your posts seem to come back to this. Poor little rangers, so afraid. Everybody lies to him.
But anyway, since you admit it wasn't an upset, why are you still here? I know why, because your Mexican...how does it feel to be treated like rats and dogs anyway?

Yes, but I said "sort of". It means one of the games wasn't really an actual international.
Nice job.
Of course. See, you've learned.
Everybody lies to him.
Wow, nice logic, so you lie means everybody lies?
But anyway, since you admit it wasn't an upset, why are you still here?
Because I admit that it wasn't an upset only for the uninformed, misguided and biased, I am here to expose your lie.
As you have confessed, I am doing a nice job. So why shouldn't I be here?
Oops, you are hooked again...
how does it feel to be treated like rats and dogs anyway?
How would I know? I am not the one uninformed, misguided and biased...

read slowly: It WAS an actual international. An official international meeting between the two teams.
There is no doubt that you're Mexican now, no one else would stick up for that joke of a team with such fervor.
