Ok, Mexico is off and Brazil is now officially on.

US Soccer says tickets go on sale on Friday.

Will there be a U.S. supporters section? We'll have to move fast on this one....

Just spoke with USSF. There will be a US Supporter's Section. It will be handled through Ticketmaster. Details forthcoming.

I mentioned the desirability of making this section General Admission (as in having the tickets say general admission) and that is something they are going to look into.

Will it be a sellout? My initial thought was yes but then I remembered that the England match was not, there were around 48,000. I'll be there so I really don't care, I just don't want to see 15,000 people with no ties to Brazil wearing Brazil jerseys since it's "cool".

I'm thinking it will be some type of password system. This is such a tight window.

I just hope we know about the supporters section before tix going on sale. Otherwise, we'll have to just buyt "normal" tickets or gamble that a supporters section shows up!

Now would be a good time to once again mention that cheap current and historical flags can be purchased at www.sevenbros.com. They ship pretty fast and I have seen nobody have problems with them in the past, with SAers having purchased from them prior to matches dating back to USA/Mexico 05.
