Well, the "can Tevez play with Rooney" question will have to wait. Saha and Ole better get fit quick.

I think Solskjaer is closer to recovery than Saha, so I wouldn't be surprised to see Ole get involved soon.

Dear Santa Fergie,
The only thing I want in this transfer season is a new striker. Pretty please. I've been good.
Love,
Sapphire
P.S. He doesn't have to be permanent; loans work, too.

What would be baller is getting Larsson back. Can't happen though.
I do think we need to bring someone in though. This Giggs as an SS, Evra on the wing, etc stuff isn't convincing, and I don't think we'll be able to last in the league with that.
Rooney will hopefully be back for the start of Europe - I bet he'll be back before 6 weeks.

Fergie said in his post match interview that we do not require another striker when asked the question but maybe now he would change his mind.
selling rossi and smith does not look so wise now.now we have to rely on a mr glass who has not played since many months and a new arrival in tevez.

I just had to check - Larsson's already started playing for Helsingborg in the UEFA Cup qualifying rounds.
Gudjohnsen would be interesting - I'd think we'd have to jettison one of Saha/Solskjaer to make everyone happy though, once Rooney was back.

Ferguson, who had John O'Shea playing up front for most of the second half, insists the injury to Rooney will not force him into the transfer market.
"With (Carlos) Tevez coming available, Louis (Saha) and Ole Gunnar (Solskjaer) starting to train again we've got the strikers there," he said.
"I'm not in a situation where we have to sign someone."

The club (Barca) have been saying Guddy has a slight left knee problem and kept him off the Asia Tour and Scotland Tour, I don't know if thats true or whether they wanted him to find a new club without saying "find a new club"
But he hasn't played in a single friendly for Barcelona.

Barca came out and pretty much invited him to leave yesterday. Said he'll have a hard time getting a game with Eto'o, Henry, Messi, and now Bojan Krkic and Dos Santos in the first team. He's available.
