Wow this hasn't been started yet.

Season is off and running.

I must say I really like the redesign of the FPL site, especially when you look at your points for this week, you can put the mouse pointer on the points and see the break down of why each of your players got that amount of points. Really nice in my opinion.

Lobo - what's the view like from last place? ;);)

Wow... Eric manages to tie for first without his captain seeing a minute of action (team to beat???).

Love the new FPL site... real upgrade this season.

Of course, FC Springfield leaves 15 points on the bench today... just a sign of things to come if last season was any indication :(

Now the challenge of fielding a squad for week 2 begins... I guess everyone is weighing options of getting docked points for multiple transfers or just going into the gameweek shorthanded.

Feel really bad for United Forever... really sucks to lose your star on the first day (and it appears its a fracture that will take six weeks to heal). On the other hand, I'm doing cartwheels if I'm in the Raytown Rangers camp... Tevez it is for the next two months.

pretty much. :)

As a United fan I'm pissed, but having Tevez now could be really big for me. :)

A pretty good week for me.

Only problem was Berbatov not scoring, and Mellberg getting 0 points for letting Liverpool score 2. He will get a lot more against mid table sides. He always does.

I figure if I can average 35 to 40 points a week I'll be in good shape for the league title.

Oh and I made this transfer:

In:

Martin Petrov, Manchester City

Out:

Joey Barton, Newcastle

Bank: 1.0

Petrov is going to have a screamer of a season I feel like.

Kevin Davies is out for six weeks or more. McHead comes in as his replacement.

I almost picked up McBride in the draft so was pleasantly surprised he was still out there. But relying on Fulham to score is a dangerous strategy.

With a number of teams not playing this midweek I can't even field 11 players. :(

I would suggest sanother player from Fulham who surprisingly hasn't been drafted yet, or someone from the former Celtic manager's team... ;)

Just my thoughts.

Well Villa are not playing in the midweek matches so that wouldn't help my 11 player problem would it?

So typical of my luck... when was the last time Cristiano Ronaldo got a red card in the prem? Has he ever gotten a red??? Man U is such crap right now - no Rooney or Ronaldo next weekend, time to stock up on Man City talent :)
