Not a chance. Sagnol owns that position--Brazzo won't cut it on defense. Sagnol and Lizarazu are on holiday until late July (because of the Confed Cup). Sagnol has really convinced in that spot, although early on he had some integration problems with the team, and didn't like living in Germany at all. Basically, he now has a professional attitude, and is easily among the top 3 in the BL for that position. He looked good for France in the Confed Cup--despite his red card (if I remember correctly). Brazzo and Sagnol make a good team on the flank.

Makaay is reported in this mornings paper as saying that he wants to sign for Bayern. Will they come up with the cash and make it happen?

Under extreme circumstances, I could see Bayern add 10% to a previous offer. There's no way they will ever pay 20, 25, or 30 milion Euros. Didn't ManU pay €41 million for Rio Ferdinand? Ha ha ha.

The thing is,Deisler is going to play when healthy(never a certainty). And Hitzfeld will not want to lose Brazzo s incredible energy. He can cut it defensivly. He is tough enogh. In that case Willy gets droped. Hitzfeld might only drop Deisler for a tough CL away match where he would want more toughnes. Sagnol simly brings very litle offense.
I hope you agree that Hargreaves is better than Jeremies

The chances of Brazzo playing at right-back are small. Sagnol and Hargreaves are better options than him. He will play right-mid when he returns to full health. One or two(or even three)of Bayern's other usual starting midfielders(Jeremies,Ballack,Scholl,Roberto)will be injured, and Deisler will most likely fill that slot. But then again, you never know.

Me thinks we shouldn't sell him, what say you

Anyone know what trophy that might be in the 2002/3 pic? Can't be anything significant.

It looks like the intercontinental cup but they won that the year before.

Is there any rumour overthere about sammy kouffor joining Arsenal? Arsene Wenger has said Arsenal aren't going to sign any more players this Summer, so I highly doubt they'll sign Sammy, let alone anyone else.

Only rumour was Kuffour to Real Madrid but that was quickly dispelled so I doubt it
