This is a hunch with no confirmation, but I can not see Beckham staying much longer. The league will be a crutch to his chances of playing for England in Euro 08' ( if they qualify). This is way to important for him. Also, he comes back to England and succeeds at club level his marketability will skyrocket even more in the British Pound laden society. Prediction....

..."Beckham Returns Home" is the headline come the end of MLS season and plays the 2nd half of 2007-08 EPL season....for Arsenal or Tottenham.

Thats the reaction I expected to hear. But let's be honest here, the MLS needs to expand the cap bigtime next season to get Beckham and Donovan serious help. The supporting cast is sorry....But I stick by what I predicted, he's gone and come 2008 should interesting.

BTW-drinking starts around 4pm.

How much do you predict the transfer fee would be?

I'll go ahead and answer for him: About forty-two bazillion dollars.

I think I found United20's true identity:

Return to England?

Theres no EPL teams that would want him anymore, English teams do not care about reputation, they're all about current ability.

If they did want him they would already have had him b4 he even spoke to Galaxy. Its not all about the money...

I bet, if he was given the choice, he'd rather be back at Man U playing for free than in a minor league on 100's of millions (infact to be back playing for Man U he'd probably pay to play.)

The truth is hes no longer good enough to kick it in the Major European leagues and at his age theres only 1 way he can go....down!

Theres no point in him even thinking about resurrecting his England career at his age, so to suggest he needs to be playing top class football to continue playing internationally is absurd.

I'll make a bold statement right now and say that by next season Becks will not even be considered an international player, hes only there because the England boss is under fire... And that my fledgling Football fanatic friend is the truth!

He should have done the decent thing and retired when he retired his captaincy. Come on Becks, don't be a hanger on, be a Shearer or a Scholes and go out at the top. It is better to be begged to come out of retirement than to be seen to be hanging on, it just ruins the Beckham legend man!

Although by not playing international he may lose some of his prestige, but it will show the MLS fans a commitment that he will instead focus all his strength on playing in and helping to improve the MLS.

Blackburn was interested in Beckham; some one, what Hughes is the fellow(?) who had some knowledge of Beckham; so, maybe the Big 4 might not be wanting him; but I don't doubt that other clubs might.... with the big IF if he went back to England, heck, half of the big stars around period, not just England seem to be out hurt right now. But this is only 3 or 4 games Beckham has been here, not enough to decide nothing; and these people b-tching about the Galaxy's performance, like no team has ever lost a game 3-0?? Some team lost 6-1 in one of the world's big leagues the other day I think I saw.
