The Brits are just pissed off (I admit rightly so) because the England’s youth program is hurting while Germany’s is not. Also, over 65% (give or take) of the EPLs players are foreigners but Bundesliga has less than 45% of foreigners. Keeping the amount of foreign players down and bringing up the U21 players into Bundesliga 1 helps with the quality of World Cup showings. Other than a 1966 Championship and a 1990 4th place showing, England hasn’t managed to do anything except getting booted from quarter-finals or not even qualifying.
