Setanta up and running in Ontario

Was just setting up my recording schedule for Saturdays matches and Setanta is already up and running. Not sure how long it's been going for, but It could only have been a day or so at most.

I'm east of Toronto and it's on Ch. 429 on rogers digital cable

If the set-up is the same for other areas then it will be 1 channel up from GolTv Canada.

ExpressVu subscribers get it on August 11, literally at 12:01 am. It's on channel 420...

Us Cogeco subscribers are the poor relations in the Setanta saga. Still no definite date from Cogeco as to when 'normal soccer service will be resumed'. :mad: I've e-mailed Setanta, so hopefully, I'll have more info soon. :)

Is there a 'blog' that I can go to, to register my opinion on this 'shortsightedness' from Cogeco? :confused:

Best thing to do is e-mail Cogeco and "cc" Setanta and make your voice heard. Encourage others who subscribe to Cogeco to do the same. If all else fails, get ExpressVu - if you can. Good Luck...

Setanta say that the timeline for Cogeco to 'be on-board' maybe mid to late September.

Message to Cogeco subscribers - ring and/or e-mail Cogeco (1-800-267-9000/www.cogeco.com/contact us) to register your dissatisfaction at missing matches and only being able to see two matches at the week-end instead of the 4/5 they aired last season. Also ask Cogeco when will they be showing the matches from Setanta.

Thanks for the Cogeco contact information, hopefully many many Cogeco customers will get on the phone or send out an email expressing their frustation with Cogeco's failure to provide Setanta. I have been calling and writing emails and I will continue to do so.

Hi Cogeco subscribers (channel 421)

Just found out that Setanta are on channel 421, this could be the free month that Cogeco gets as a result of finally signing up. Nice of Cogeco to let us know that it's available! I've made at least three enquiries with them in the past few weeks. I'm only a customer!

It's available on Cogeco digital - tons of matches on throughout the day, it's soccer overload, finally.
