Perú se enfrentará a Colombia en un amistoso oficial el 8 de septiembre en Lima, previo al inicio de las eliminatorias sudamericanas para el mundial del 2010.

La Comisión Mundialista Sudáfrica 2010 de la federación peruana de fútbol indicó que Perú y Colombia confirmaron el partido, que se cumplirá en la fecha de amistosos oficiales de la FIFA.

Perú espera jugar previamente con Costa Rica en otro amistoso el 22 de agosto como visita y sin contar con sus estrellas, como los delanteros Claudio Pizarro (Chelsea), Jefferson Farfán (PSV Eindhoven), o Paolo Guerrero (Hamburgo).

Pero para enfrentar a Colombia, la Comisión dijo que el nuevo técnico de la selección peruana José Del Solar contará con todos sus jugadores, a los que se sumará el también destacado volante Nolberto Solano, del Newcastle inglés.

funny but what are the recent match ups of Colombia Peru 7-0 in our favor?:D

and whats so funny u guys were in a super easy group of Venezulea and Boliva and u luckly made it threw. We both played against the Argies and they score 4 on us but at least we score on them.

Calero is gone and what happened in Copa America wont happen again. Pinto sent a team to export players and to check out the older players and to see if they work in his new team. They did not and no more yepes, IRC or Calero.

I am personally glad let everyone get cocky against us and when we play, theyll get a nice little suprise :)

I like the peruvian team and hope that they do well, they have a great offense. As for Paraguay .... what team in SA has been to the last 3 WCs? So why are u knocking them?

the colombian team that just got called against Peru and Mexico is alot stronger than the one sent to Copa America... I still dont get why we sent half those players

David Ospina 18- new Oscar cordoba, u will see him tonite against the U. Peru in sudamerica
Julio- sucks but he was keeper for Tolima in Copa Libs(hope he doesnt play because he is old)

As for Defense Bustos great Lb, played for Cucuta and scores alot on free kicks
CBs A.Mosquera was starter in Pachuca and helped them win 3 titles in mexico
CB C.Zapata starter/captain of Udinese,ita might be going to Juventus
Rb ? dont know who will play we dont really have one on the list it can be Anchico or Velez

Midfield
Freddy Guarin- very promsing DM/RM plays in france and was star of 2005 sub 20
Jaime Castrillon- promising DM, played Copa America 2004/2007, Copa Oro 2005 and was our best player in all of them
Macnelly Torres- Creative force of Cucuta (AMC/RM)
Yulian Anchico- LM/LB of Tolima has a good long shot

Striker(......... yea.... part that colombia suffers from)
Fredy Montero- 20 yr old leading goalscorer last season, 3 goals so far this season after 4 games
Falcao García - injury prone striker but when he is hot he is hot

think this team is very good just a bit young almost everyone that I put on my winning eleven are under 25

Individually and talent wise Colombia has more than enough.
Their problem has been that as a team they haven't been able to accomplish much in the past years. That's the big challenge for Pinto.

our players are just lazy, biggest complaint against Pinto is that he wants us to play like Germany and England to be an extremly fit team. He makes everyone practice 2 times a day, and some of our older players were angry they had to run so much..

Tendran una defensa un poco mejor. Y eso ya se esta acortando con AK7 y el Mudo consagrandose afuera. Estamos bastantes parejos. Derrepente los ultimos años ellos juegan un poquito mejor en conjunto como equipo.

Colombia has better defenders and midfielders but you guys have world class strikers. Anyways, don't look at Copa America as reference because seven player out 11 who started the first game against Paraguay won't be called up again for NT.
