I expected more from Bremen in this match.
But it might be not the best Werder season this 07-08 year.
With Klose gon you have a big hole to fill.
At least this is my feeling.

Klose's hole isnt really a huge hole to fill. Werder Bremen have got strikers such as Sanogo, Almeida, and Rosenberg...also they have Schindler and harnik, who are just couple of the young ones who could prove a lot in this season. Bremen are just missing players from injury and as a result we can't construct a proper team who will play play to the best of their ability.

Give the team some time. Our coach couldnīt find a team,
because of the injuries in the season preparation.
So itīs like we are using the league matches as season preparation.
Furthermore when world-class players like Frings, German NT players
like Borowski and talents like Aaron Hunt return the squad will be really
good. I have no fear of the season, only the coming weeks will be difficult,
but with fighting spirit you can also get something countable from these matches.

I agree Bremen will struggle with these injuries but once the players are fit again they will rise up..

I just hope the can pull out something special and qualify to the CL

Agreed with the last few posts. Injuries! Injuries! Injuries! Also, I would say that Bremen played like a team does in the first few weeks of the season....not as sharp as they will be in a few more weeks.

if dinamo still had eduardo they would have beaten bremen by 2 goals..balaban scored but he should have scored at least 2..i have a feeling dinamo is going to beat bremen in zagreb..most players felt if not for that silly mistake in the beginning of the second half they would have won the game..

lot's of "would-haves"

If Werder had less players injured and if the team had time to practise together more often they are capable of dominating teams like Barca or Chelsea.

yes well thats why i give dinamo a chance because of werder's injuries..werder is not capable of beating those teams not even when they had klose..klose is an excellent striker and without him your team will not compete for the bundesliga title..anways dinamo will win 2-0 in zagreb..:D

I think you place way too much emphasis on Klose. They went far even with him not on form, which was a good portion of last season. Bremen was never a one player team. Besides, they put 2 past Zagreb and had many more chances.

I agree, as i said before, just because Bremen doesn't have Klose doesn't mean we won't be on form. Look at the players Bremen has, Bremen has a lot of potential with their players-young/old/new...the point is that Bremen's injuries are stopping them to play to full strength.

dinamo had many more chances in the 1st half and should have been winning by more then 1-0 at the end of first half..i like bremen i always thought they played nice football..klasnic was very good for a couple of years to bad he got sick..i have watched bremen alot ever since klasnic started playing and i think this is there weakest team ive seen..

yea well how many teams do you think can make it past Barca AND Chelsea....two of the favorites to WIN the CL!!! and we didnt just lay down and die either, we were eliminated by ONE POINT Barca had on us. and they got that point by a brilliant run Messi made to score on us in injury time to tie it up....

I agree we may struggle with our front two at times....but i think Klose was not nearly as productive last year as he was in 05-06....he was almost non-existant in CL and Uefa cup play....The key to our success last year was our Midfield, and judging by Alloffs signing of Alberto, he understands that a good attacking midfield can be just as good as a star-studded front two....im extremely anxcious to see Diego and Alberto work together, and then when we get Frings and Boro back, we will be all set. Sanogo has played well so far, Almeida is always proving he deserves a starting spot, and Hunt is one of the brightest hopes for future German national team striking capability....and of course, when we have Klasnic back, and in form, we should be all set....

hopefully Klasnic doesnt get hurt again and pull a Deisler...

very true bremen put up a good fight but they are not on that level..remember they got spanked by lyon one year and they got spanked by sevilla last year too..all those strikers you mentioned are no were near the level of klose..hunt is a very talented player but he needs to stay healthy..by the way klose played hurt alot last year and he always gives 100% effort..i think you just like most bremen fans are pissed because he went to bayern..klasnic will never be the same player again..if he comes back at all i would be surprised..

man stop posting. you're absolutely clueless. when did we play Sevilla?
Please watch the matches vs. Espanyol and tell me again that Klose gives a 100% every game.

Nobody says they are on that level at the moment. Everybody says Werder is not at that level at the moment (most importantly the coaches say that) but in general the team is capable of competing with the best in Europe. you denied that. I proved you wrong. have a nice day.

Dude, right on! What this guy said is the same as calling a world-class sprinter "slow" because he can't outrun a cheetah!

They were just stupid ass comments from the guy.
