who in your opinion is the most underated player in the premier league?
i think lampard was voted the most overated player and the debate is still on.. time for the most underated.....

Paul Scholes. The level between his talent and what he means to the side on the pitch and what other people view him as is rediculous.

He's rated below Lampard and Gerrard. Underrated.
EDIT: I'd like to add that the massacre of the word ridiculous is, well, ridiculous. This is for johno as well, who's been doing it for years.

He starts for any team outside of the Big 3. And he's significantly better than Ben-Haim, whom Chelsea is delighted to have.

In England Scholes is appreciated yet still underrated. The real crime is how underrated he is in the world community of football dummies.
Besides him, Arteta, Hleb, Downing, Milner, and Taylor remain somewhat underrated within the league.

Arteta is a champ - Everyone was talking about Cahill 2 seasons ago, but it was Arteta who stepped up this go around when Cahill was on the bench alot.

That list seems more like a random selection of Premier League players rather than a list having anything to do with players that are underrated.

He is particularly good at pissing off this whole forum:D
tbh I havent seen too many of his Bolton/Chelsea games, but for Israel he is rock solid at the back, great with header, man marking, and is really a leader on the pitch.
