I'd settle for an iron on embroidered patch so i could make my own beanie/hat, but those don't seem to be available either

Tell me about it! I don't wear hats, I mainly wear sweatshirts, and I'd like a golf shirt or two as well. Can't find a single one! There is one on the MLS website, but it does not even have a logo other than a small one on the sleeve!

When I asked at the Team LA store at the HDC, they looked confused, as if they had no idea what a sweatshirt was.

Very frustrating! How does having nothing available help increase Beckham's take? All there is right now.. jerseys and jersey-style t-shirts. I'm not a slim guy -- I mean, I fit in a jersey, but it doesn't look good -- so even if jerseys are all that's available, I won't buy one. I'll just end up wearing a hockey shirt around town and save my old shirts for games, since I figure I have no idea if they'll be replaceable or not!

Wow, if that is true it is very disturbing. Its hard enuff to throw away our old colors, logo, and maybe even mascot. But maybe she's got a point. Every time i see myself wearing the new jersey, i feel like a wannabe real madrid supporter. However, it'll be hard to fork out any more money on apparel till i see some results on the field

Yet I hear over and over the galaxy is a TEAM, not just beckham. Well, you can flockin tell by not having any support material for anyone OTHER THAN Beckham.

I've been doing marketing for over 20 years. Can the Galaxy hire me? I would have NEVER allowed this to happen. It's an embarrassment and a total contradiction to the hype the team is trying to feed us. Like mentioned previously, just ANOTHER F-up by this organization this year.

Same here. We would have spent hundreds of $$ on Galaxy gear, including all last year--pre-DB--if there had been more of a selection available. Compare and contrast: KC Wizards selection.

I just don't understand how the FO operates without anyone thinking about fans.

Yeah, they're throwing away money. When the Ducks came out with the new logo, I bought about $600 in sweatshirts for myself and my family at the team store the first weekend. I'd gladly do the same for the Galaxy, but I have yet to find anything other than one on the MLS website, and it's not at all what I'm looking for (not even a logo or mention of the team on the front!).

Very, very frustrating. Jerseys are fine for games, but they're not what you wear to a nice dinner or the office -- a golf shirt or classy embroidered sweatshirt, on the other hand, is appropriate in almost any situation.

yeah i'm 6'7" and don't really fit into the shirts. i'm a fan but i don't want to walk around with a scarve all day. if i was another player, i would be pretty mad that the only thing the club was promo'ing was becks' stuff. but i'm glad he's here.

At Becks presentation the VIP seats in front of the podium had caps with the new logo on white. I kept yelling at Cien's guest for one but no luck.

we got two at the HDC a few weeks back (one doesn't fit and is for sale--size Large, if you can't find them any place else I'd be happy to ship it.)
