Thank god. But I see he only got the 2 year deal. Why are the club only doing 2 year deals if the player wants 3? It almost guarantees the pleyer will only play one season, or be given away for free after 2. I can't imagine what will happen with Okocha. Will we sell him in the January window, or let him go for free at the end of the season? I don't imagine we'd be in the same position with Djorkaeff, but you never know.

He's on a two year deal in case we go down, we're refusing to give any long term contracts. I'm sure his contract will be up for renewal next year.
As for Okocha he will leave at the end of his contract that's been the plan since day one. No-one's going to buy him off us unless they bid silly money.
Djorkaeff also has a year left on his contract.
Anyway it's good that Laville is now oficially a Wanderer and at a superb price of £500,000 :D All we need now is another centre back and a striker (not Sukur)

That's the problem, we generally play with one person up front so we need someone with pace, Sukur hasn't got that. If we played with 2 up front then maybe he'd be a good signing. We need to see the board push the boat out a little and pay to bring a quality striker in, I'd consider Bobby Zamora from Brighton but I'm not too sure whether he'd cut it at the top level.
On that note I do find it funny that we'll sign strikers from the Danish league but not the first division (well second now), we often forget that the first division is better than most leagues in Europe, including the Danish league.
