Looks like the Tevez Saga is winding down!

West Ham will release the player/registration tomorrow for a fee between 1 and 3 million pounds - he will then be on a loan deal to us in the same way Mascherano was to Liverpool. Finally, there is a good bit of light at the end of the tunnel. Hopefully he joins up with us by the weekend and is ready to train.

Thank goodness. I was beginning to get a bit scared with the recent departures. Lets just hope everything goes smoothly from here.

We've been through so many twists and turns that I'll only believe it when I see it.
There's no concete quotes anywhere, just an answer of 'maybe' when Magnusson was asked if the matter would be solved in the next 24 hours.

Looks like the whole horrible saga can end as long as the PL agree.

Which they probably will, as they have a lot invested in this going through. PL Lawyers have also been involved from the start of the process.
I feel bad for Sheffield United - everyone knows that rules were breached, and they have to sit and watch as WHU, us, and the Premier League paper over the cracks.

Looks to be done and dusted. Announced tomorrow, surely before most of us here in the states have even woken up. :)
FINALLY.

This is excellent news. Sad to see Smudge go but this certainly makes up for it. Barring injuries, we have a squad that can compete for league and European glory.

Great news indeed, 1-3 million as a gesture to appease the PL, any ideas how much we are gonna pay for the loan? 6million ayear was a figure previously banded about. Personally id like to own the player outright, saves hassle in the long run.

So, if West Ham is truly willing to release Tevez's registration for 1-3m and the EPL is willing to sanction this, that's a tacit admission that West Ham's case was crap and that the EPL arbitration panel screwed up.
You don't settle for between 3 and 10 cents on the dollar if you have even a half-decent case.

Right, but it's still more than they paid for him so Sheffield Utd can't really claim foul play.

I won't be happy until I see Tevez sign the papers and hold up the sacred armor of MUFC.

Veron warns Tevez... Veron never lets up. I wish he would put a cork in it.

Where did all the Hammers go? I predicted it would take £2m, as that was the payoff fee if he left during the last transfer window. I should have placed a bet. :)
