I wish the makers of grand theft auto would get together with Konami so after the matches you could go the ref's house and murder him. You could also rape his daughter and then kill her too.

I am getting sick of getting pulled down all over the pitch with fouls not being called. The ref needs to die. His family needs to be axed. I want to drive a tank into the stadium and blow up the opposing team as well. ************ this stupid ************.

And I also want my own teamates dead as well. Well maybe not dead but a couple of punches to thier face should be ok. Figo can't connect a pass to save his ************ing life.

I had Thierry Henry and we was awesome so I thought I'd add Ronaldo but the little whore can't put the ball anywhere near the net. I want him beaten like Saddam beat the Kurds.

Fear Not mate the same thing has happened to me. I had Crespo on my Juventus (Piemont) Squad and he was tearing it up when i decided to transfer for Ronaldo who was Injured and Inter decided to sell to me at a Cheap price. Once he recorvered Not only did the buck tooth wonder fail to score any goals but managed to pull Crespo into his inner circle of Suck.

In another season after i lost the Master League Championship in the last Match day by one point i decided to go on a spending spree buying World Class players in each line including Nesta, Pires, Zidane and Totti. Well after 3 games i couldnt win and got my only victory on a suffered one nil home win. My guess is that the stronger you make your squad the more difficult the game gets to even things out especially if your playing in the highest difficulty level.

Have yah noticed how many of the goal celebrations on WE6 are Gay !!! WTF were the Japanese programers thinking ?!!? The first H'omo erotic celebration i noticed was when Trezeguet scored his first goal of the season which he celebrated by running to the sidelines and raising his arms in the air only for Nedved to creep in from behind put his arms around him and do a Grinding motion reminiscent of an ass rape !!! By this time i was like WTF say it aint so, Nedved what are you doing but it only got Worse as Tudor grabs Nedved from Behind to complete the Butt grinding Orgy !!!

There is another Celebration that is also scary. It is when the goalscorer runs up to one of his teamates and then they start Hugging and it looks like they are making out and then you can see the player whispering something to the teamates ear !?!!?

lol ... have you seen the one where the goal scorer jumps into the arms of the other player, wraps his legs around and starts rocking back and forth ... I skip all celebrations because of this.

People have mentioned this on other boards that deal with video football. I skip most of the celebrations myself for this reason. I bet they get this part straightened out (no pun intended) for the next release.

Here's what I did: (playing normal, have won everything, but trying to get the treble before I move up to hard)

I changed Ronaldo's injury level to B, because he's gotten past the knee injury now, and got him on loan transfer. He won the scoring title for me in my third season (20 goals, D2 champions, 24-3-3). Inter wanted peanuts for him, so I bought him the next season, paired him with Olisadebe again, and have won the ML D1 two seasons running. He's been great on my Athens United team. After losing the postseason ML championships in the first round (I had won the Masters Cup and won the league title 21-9-0 w/six matches left- that damn close to my treble), I bought more talent than I'd ever need, because I just can't seem to field a team of mostly orange arrow players for every match, and sometimes the CPU gives me a bunch of blue arrows before important matches. Current team, season 6:

I have to give you props for even knowing who Olisadebe is. By the way, he's the best value on the whole game. He's cheap and and his ratings are high. Plus you get teams willing to give you tons of cash for him. Not that anyone would care but my family is from Warsaw and thier team is Polonia and Olisadebe played for them from around '98-'01 and he scored buckets of goals.


I am using Real madrid. It is srange determining which players will work and which won't.

For me, this is how it goes:

Figo: Sucks

Zidane: ok but nothing special

Ronaldo: Well he didn't score in his first 6 matches and all the Spanish media was calling him a bust. He missed quite a few sitters but then something happened and he scored 10 goals in the net 6 matches. He's back starting ovr Morientes.

Morientes: Sucks

Raul: He's good, I don't expect to much from him because everything goes thru Ronaldo so any goals he scores is a bonus and he's got about 10 goals in 15 matches.


Roberto Carlos: Probably the best player on the entire game. I use him way back in defense and he shuts down everyone plus he can make pin point passes to the front players....plus he scored a free kick from the Gods....and he has 4 goals in 12 matches even though he is on defense.


Hierro: Another good one, he scores goals from defense, mostly on corner kicks. My defense is among the best in the history of sports.


Cassilas: the best keeper I've used on the whole game. I used to use Arsenal and Cassilas is better than Seaman by a mile and he's better than Friedel.


Thierry Henry: I used him with Arsenal and he lead the league in goals scoring 37 goals in 24 matches in division 2, then he scored 22 goals in 22 matches in the First division. Hardly missed any sitters.


Henrik Larrson: I got him with Arsenal on a transfer from Celtic.....probably not worth the money I paid but he was ervicable...a little slower than the top money guys though and speed is important in this game.



Value Players: Olisadebe, The Entire Mexico team (Blanco especially), Nakata, Landon Donovan, Lebouf, Hendry.


By the way I also posted this in the referee forums and they didn't like it.

also the other person on the ame that I want to kill is Batistuta. He is blazing fast and he knocks my defenders down and scores rocket goals from all over the pitch.

I'm gonna buy that mother************er and sit his ass on the bench for the whole season. Same with Totti, Nedved and Del Piero. Guys meet the BENCH.

WTF even me as a Mexico fan dont expect the MNT to be quite effective in WE6 the majority of the player stats suck. The only players i have had on my team are Arellano and Morales. Anyways these are My cheap but effective players list:

To add to the list of grievances about the officiating, I can't count the number of times one of my forwards or mids has been ejected in the opening minutes for an innocuous foul. Shevchenko will try to knock the ball off a defender, bump the guy lightly, and get a red card. This would NEVER happen.

Meanwhile, the opposition pulls down my forwards with impunity and nothing ever happens. The other team also has an uncanny ability to shove my players for 20 or 30 metres, slowing them down and screwing up their shooting, without ever getting a foul called.

Somebody else said that the PS2 adjusts to your skill level. I concur. I won D2 in my second seasons with basically the current Real Madrid team, then sold all my stars for big money and went transfer crazy in the offseason: picking up Shevchenko, Stam, Riijkaard, Gullit, Davids, Maradona, Cruyff, MVB, Garrincha, Pele, and Di Stefano.

I beat Juventus 8-0 in my first DI match, didn't give up a goal for the first 5 or 6 matches, Di Stefano scored on his first 4 shots; I was scoring goals from all over the field.

In the twenty or so games since then, my performance has slowly waned, and now my team is not much more dominant than it was last season. They miss easy shots and make a lot of bad passes...

If you want to build the perfect team, I really recommend earning the classic Brazil, Argentina, and Netherlands teams, by winning the applicable continental championship with the current team. Their players are relatively cheap and insanely good. The other classic teams: France, Germany, England, and Italy, are not nearly as good.

I think most USNT fans knew who Olisadebe was before the World Cup. Everyone knew he'd be one of the players to keep an eye on during the USA-POL match. In fact, I thought we talked about him. I know I said something to this one guy named Kraze about him in Politics, but you weren't involved in that.

I think it matters which team you decide to use as well. Certain players don't play well with certain other players. I took over Fiorentina and created my own team, complete with flag and kits. I bought (and later sold):

Torricelli (I had more talented players at his position)
Asamoah (not great on passes)
Lawal (was never really effective)
Mahdakiva (he played well, just got an offer I couldn't refuse)
Fortune (same thing, very strong on the ball, but didn't pass well)

Morfeo has been incredible, as has Baronio. I can play Baronio, Figo, Djorkaeff or Morfeo at OM with no real change in effectiveness. Suarez can play as a defender, and Lizarazu can play in the midfield. It's all about who's ready on the given day, so my system requires midfielders who can play at least two positions, and since I don't cross a lot, I sometimes use a left-footer on the right and vice versa, if I don't have at least a green arrow at that position.

It's really hard to tell how my defenders are doing, because I dominate possession like 62%-38%. Right now (8-0-0 in season 6) I've scored 18 and allowed 2. I really should be playing on hard, but I want to win the treble first. Also, I'm not using any retired players.

cpus are not strong enough for me anymore. they are tough only when they cheat and the ref helps them. my best record so far was 9-0 against juve. i had a few 7-0 too. i need stronger opponent than the extreme level. i completed a hattrick several time even with castillo. now my friend who used to be stronger than me is almost nothing and have to take him easy otherwise he won't play with me anymore. i keep the scoreline always close on purpose and he doesn't know yet that i am toying with him. i want better opponents.

i don't think they're gonna ever improve the celebration. at least they should fix the stupid music when replay is played or celebrating the championship. i almost cried when i first saw my players start hopping and waving the fans with all stupid faces in the master league winning celebration.
