It seems that, "In the absence of Wenger, whose private jet remained grounded at Luton airport because of technical problems, Van Persie assumed a lone ambassadorial role before this week's Amsterdam Tournament but used the platform to launch a thinly veiled attack on Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool."

So it looks like RVP is going to be our new poster boy, I LIKE IT. He has that charisma and his style of play is so fitting for our squad. i think he has the potential to be the Golden Boot Winner this season and depending on how things go a PFA Player of the Year award would be attainable by him. He is the next great superstar to come from Arsene Wenger, its been a chain of strikers. Wright, Anelka, Henry, RVP.

he goes on to talk about how much he loves our style of football,

When asked if he would be prepared to revert from attractive football to play for a side who won 1-0 every week and earned more trophies, Van Persie replied: "Small chance. The way I see it, I would never give that up. There are only a few teams in Europe who play the way Arsenal play. I will always play for a team where I earn less money but play fantastic football rather than a team where you can earn lots of money and win every week 1-0, 2-0 and play the defensive style."I don't really like that. I play football because I like it. I don't like to run after people all game long; I like that they run after me. That's the way I see football." The 23-year-old was quick to suggest, however, that his commitment to Arsenal was allied to the future of Wenger, whose contract expires next summer.
"I don't really think that he is going to leave, and for me that would change some things because Arsène Wenger showed confidence in me," said the Dutchman. "The first conversation I had he told me, 'Take it easy, trust me, your time will come', and all those words came true. When he leaves, and that's not the case, some things for me will change as well. But for now he is here, he has shown his desire to win and now it's up to us to show it as well."

Umm, great, so he's the face of Arsene FC. Fantastic player but I'd rather not have someone telling me they're gonna bail if the manager leaves, especially if he's still under contract.
