Arturo Vidal is the real deal. I watched him play for the first time in the U-21 World Cup in Canada and he was great. He's got a real shot on him, he can launch from long distance outside the box. I watched a South American WCQ vs Peru, and he made a fantastic play setting Mattias "Matti-Gol" Fernandez up by chipping a ball over the defence with Matti putting the ball in the back of the net. Ray Hudson said it was "Riequelme Like", I totally agree. Watch this kid he's only 20

He was Chile's best player in the first two matches of the qualies...we was also good yesterday against Uruguay, where Chile managed a pretty good 2-2 draw in Uruguayan soil.

HOWEVER, he is young and a bit stupid and hot tempered because of it, he got yellow carded for kicking the ball as far as he could after a foul, he argued that he didn't hear the ref's whistle...but I wouldn't be surprised if he did hear it and kicked the ball away anyway...he will miss a crucial game againt Paraguay in Santiago. :rolleyes:

But you can tell he has improved his temper a bit by being in Germany...I guess they don't put up with his s*** over there, which is great, a bit of German discpline and Chile will have an awesome player for the years to come. Thanx. :cool:

Another one of Ramelow's stupid red cards. Who'd actually think it had a somewhat positive effect on the game itself for Bayer. This wasn't one of the games where Bayer were able to show their offensive class, but who cares at this point. 3 points is all what is needed and Bayer got it. A shame Barbarez got injured short before kick off, he's been on fire lately and an unusual Schneider substitute, but it was clear that he didn't have the energy to play today.

I liked Kiessling today, he played well and worked his ass off throughout the whole match.

This was a tough job: Bayer 04 have prematurely qualified for the next UEFA Cup round with a 1-0 victory against Sparta Prag.
