Til 2010. Good news. I think Rolfes is perfect for Bayer and vise versa.
i wish that Leverkusen would play in Champions League again...
together with Bayern Munich..
these two teams are my favorite for CL!

Insert sound of continuous puking.......
I can understand Bayer, but "Bayern?"
I can't see how someone can wish the same for both.
I like you, but don't understand you young lady.....

Thank you, but I knew that already. Did you think that was the first time I ever responded to a message from her?

see...it is difficult for me..i was many years fan of Bayern Munich...my all family was fan of them..my father visited many of their games..he had this pernament tickets...and i was often with him there....it was his big love....my father died few years ago...and to respect to him, i still like "his" team...and i lived in Munich......after i moved first to Cologne (because of University) and later to Leverkusen, I was still fan of Bayern Munich...after one of my friend took me to Leverkusen stadium...I enjoyed the atmosphere there...Leverkusen was in Champions League that time...top team in Bundesliga...with great players....I simply loved the atmosphere there and wanted to go every week to soccer stadium ...so I became Leverkusen fan...you can not live in Leverkusen without loving their soccer....it is small nice soccer community.......when I´m in Munich, I still like to go to Bayern Munich games.....but I can not do this every week of course......so my hear belongs to two teams: Bayer and Bayern.....

I know. You didn't have to explain again. I just don't understand it. I go to a few Bayern matches now too and I did want them to beat Belensenses, but you won't see me rooting for them to go to the CL again, even though I know that not only are they going back to the CL, but this season, it is just a matter of how many points will Bayern win the title by.
Believe me, I catch hell for liking BVB and FCN. I like FCN because I lived in that area for more than 12 years. However, that's it. I LIKE them. My heart belongs to BVB and BVB only.
I am not saying you cannot feel the way you do. I just said I don't understand it.
Especially with what Bayern has done to Leverkusen over the years....

Well, let me put it to you this way. When it comes to Bayern, I will be at the Allianz Arena when they play Bolton in the UEFA Cup.
I'm pretty certain I'll be wearing a Bolton Wanderers jersey.
Yes, I already own one, I am not making a special purchase for the event..... :)
Later next week, I'll start talking about Bayer v. BVB on the 20th! ;)

Well, like I told you on the BVB forum, right now, Bayer Leverkusen isn't scaring anyone.
Yes, we suck right now at BVB, but we're getting some of our better players back soon. And I was at the match in Nuernberg when you guys played there.
Your team didn't impress me much at all without Schneider. You are better than us and you are at home, but that doesn't mean you are going to win.
I thought you guys would win that first match of the season at home too.....

My brother (who is living in Fürth again after 2 years in Aschaffenburg) was at that game, too ... and told me that Leverkusen was horrible although they won the match.
It seems they have 2 different faces this season...

I agree with you and your brother. Leverkusen's inconsistency is exactly why BVB has a chance. Especially if we get a few of our injured players back.
Leverkusen SHOULD win, but I think we have a decent chance.

I know there is a specific "Arturo Vidal" thread somewhere, but its all in Spanish and I'm far too lazy to try to translate. So without having had much chance to watch Leverkusen this year, how Vidal doing? Is he mostly playing as a center back, or in midfield some?

I think he started slowly but is doing much better now. I saw him play at Bayer's match in Nuernberg two weeks ago. I think he played as a sweeper (#6) in front of the defense. I thought he played well.

here is short statistic:
Dortmund won 5 times in 27 gamesin the history (17 losses and 6 drawns)
Bayer scored more goals against Dortmund than against any another team in BL
The last 7 games did not end with drawns..
Advantage of Dortmund - midfield (midfield players scored 9 goals)
I think Leverkusen has big chance to win the game..
My prediction Leverkusen 2 - Dortmund 0
