It's a long season we'll see. I have no problem with Bayer whatsoever, and I would rather see them on the 2nd,3rd place than Schalke, Bremen, Stuttgart etc. I'm trying to watch the games when I can to see Barbarez play. When he is in the lineup anyway, that old geezer ;)
that´s nice.....When I lived in Munich (where I grew up) I was also long time Bayern fans..and it is still my second favorite team....my old love......after i moved to Leverkusen,
I enjoyed Leverkusen atmosphere and became their fan.....it is nice club, small stadium with
great atmosphere..and nice mascot: Löwe, Lion.....and Bayern Munich is also great team, with many good looking players....all my friends and family in Munich are Bayern Munich fans!
we both have some common: we had Ballack:)
I also like Schneider...nice guy..met him few times in Leverkusen...
Berbarez.....I also liked Nowotny , but he don´t play here anymore..
Schneider had only one wish: He wish to play one finale game..it did not work for him
in Champions League or Bundesliga..we were very close there..but never managed..
and Schneider did not manage it with National team either...so I wish for him Final Game.
thanks for your post here!!!
many greetings

A family of Bayern fans, born in the great city, and yet you became a Leverkusen fan?
just kidding, I would probably become a Bayer fan too if I lived in the city long enough:D
A side from Ballack, Lucio and Zé Roberto also played very good for Bayer.
When you mentioned Nowotny I remembered that he's having a "abschiedsspiel" 8. October. It's going to be "KSC dream team" against some current German NT players, including Schneider in Wildparkstadion, Karlsruhe. I hope the game will be shown on TV.

Hi, I saw Vidal's first goal for Leverkusen...and what a goal it was! I'm glad he adapted so quickly to German football...he's a key player for Chile's future.

He needs to learn how to control his temper problems but I think German football is the perfect place to do so, a bit of German discipline will do him well.

well...when I used to live in Bavaria (where my family come from), of course I was fan of Bayern Munich...we lived in Munich...my father was big fan of Bayern Munich...I often went with him to games....my first game I saw was Bayern Munich game...some of my friends are also 1860 Munich fans.....I grew up in Bavaria, so I was fan of BAvarian team
when I moved to Cologne and later to Leverkusen, I was first a fan of Bayern Munich...but after I went to the stadium Bayer Leverkusen, I enjoyed the atmosphere there...Leverkusen is one big soccer city...mostly everyone here is Bayer Leverkusen fan...it is small and nice community...and team is also good...I love going to the stadium..I live here..so I support this team.....however I still like Bayern Munich....the love stayed in my heart.....
so I like both BAYER and BAYERN:)

Congrats on the away win in Nürnberg (it was a little bit lucky, though).
Kießling was the "main actor" in his former stadium...;)

Good performance against Bayern, but Munich was a little bit cleverer in the end.
Btw: For which team did you cheer, dear Mirka? :p Did you see Rene Adler and Rüdiger Vollborn in "Das aktuelle Sportstudio" tonight?

yes he did...he said that he felt in Leverkusen very good..and he is looking forward to play in the new stadium that should be finished in 2009.....he is one of the best and maybe the best
GK in Germany...he lives in Burscheid...that´s small town near Leverkusen and he trains very hard...we are glad to have him...and hope he will be national GK one day

it was heart attack game.....maybe i would have enjoyed draw more....but that Leverkusen lost against Munich...well i can forgive Munich:).....as you said...Munich was a little bit cleverer in the end...in the second half was Bayern Munich better.....it was pity that Schneider could not play due his injury.....he was looking forward to this game....but unfortunately he could not play....Barnetta had good chance in the first half....but after Luca Toni (this sexy italian) scored goal, Leverkusen lost the game..
it was fantastic game...but to lose against Bayern Munich 1:0 is o.k.......with all their stars like Toni, Klose etc....
I was happy to get some Bavarian air in the Bayer stadium)
my friends were a bit upset at me...because they said that i got bad luck:)....because I said...Luca toni looked sexy....after I said it...Luca Toni scored goal....so it is my fault we lost
