Totally twatted them, completely outclassed were Galatasary. Would have been the best performance today, except for a certain English side ;)

With a certain player who wasn't "good enough" for a certain German team with idiots running it that is not named Bayer Leverkusen. :D

Leverkusen is really playing some nice football this season, good young squad. Shame they will have to play Hamburg.

Schneider played Barnetta’s pass perfectly to Kießling and prepared second goal.
He also scored one goal as penalty. General, performance of Schneider was very good.
The whole team played impressive.
The only thing is a bit stupid that we will play German team in next round HSV..this is pretty pity.
here is full report about the game in English:

i hope we will be at least 3rd in Bundesliga...or maybe second.
it would be cool if Leverkusen played in Champions league again.

Totally agree. He's back.
And Kiessling is still a freakin' "chancentod....." But he sure can play.

What is "a bit stupid" about it?? When you get down to the later rounds and you have that many teams from one country, of course it becomes more likely that two of them will meet one another. It is simply logical!
We've known this would happen if both teams won their matchups since the draw. It isn't like this is some sort of surprise.
Geez.

No. And remember, even back when we were "battling" about it, I said he has his qualities, but he just isn't good enough for the GNT. Not yet anyhow.
I still feel that way. He has improved, but I feel he's still just below the guys already on the NT. I think he'd make it if a couple of them got hurt and even then, I'd still have to consider Asamoah, Helmes and possibly even Hanke ahead of him.
Even Podolski nailed another two for Bayern last night, while Kiessling was blowing open chances (at least one) in front of the net.
Kiessling is good man, but again, just below the guys blocking his path.....
If he got cooler in front of the net, he'd be right up there with the rest.

I see...fair enough.
I know he's improved overall, but yeah he can become more clinical.
Let him learn the trade now; it's only good for players to do that very well and then get called into the NT.
Like Toni for example.

Kiessling may never make it. Too many of those guys are around his age or just "young" enough to keep him out. They will keep him out until other youngsters come up and pass him too.
That is, unless Kiessling learns coolness in front of the net.
This is the wrong place for the "Toni" conversation and you know it.......

Yeah, unless he learns coolness in front of the net he will get nowhere considering the competition in his own age group or thereabouts.

Whom should I root for tomorrow. Hamburg or Bayern? Are we going for 1st or the CL spot?
