I am going absolutely nuts waiting for the season to begin so I decided to watch some van Persie on YouTube. Watching all those old clips has me excited about the prospect of he and Cesc Fabragas tearing up the defense of their opponants!

I know it takes more than two players to succeed in the Premier League and Champions League but I think those two have something special.

That is all I got.

Just for the love of God do NOT refer to Cesc as CFab....to close to he who shall not be named for my liking! Thanks! ;) :p

Beat me to it!

Can a mod change the threat title, please? I don't know if I can sleep tonight knowing it's out there.

Sorry, didn't know I was potentially offending!

Just check out the "Nameless" threads and see who's not discussed.;)

Fabregas and Van Persie, IMHO, are the corner stones to our club and the future
of The Arsenal. They both have loads of talent and potential.

I think Toure should be mentioned along those lines as well.

I love Kolo, but he has been with us since 2002 and is 26.

I would like to add Kolo to this list as well. Kolo has never said a bad word about the club, never ever hinted at leaving or wanting to play anywhere else, etc. Kolo will probably retire here or if not then leave on good terms and go to Portsmouth. Being 26 he still has at least 4/5 years with us if not 6. Depending on if he retires with us or moves on.

RvP i definitely agree on as well.

Cesc is great and has oodles of talent but i dont really see us looking back on him as a legend of the club. He has been with us for a few years and i feel better about AW signing on after next year but if he doesnt then i could potentially see Cesc leaving. Anyhow if he doesnt i still could see him leaving us around 26 and going back to Spain. By then he would have been with us for a decent amount of time and given us plenty of great years of service but i could see him wanting to have a couple of quality years in Spain before things start going downhill. So in this case we would look back fondly but not in the same eyes as Bergie or Henry.
