As the title says, I just moved to Dallas from Virginia and was just wondering where the local Gooners meet up to watch the matches.

Good number of Gooners here...of course one of us is running around in Scotland now. There is also a number of regular expats who we watch the games with. We meet up at Trinity Hall at 75/Mockingbird. Website is http://trinityhall.tv so if you see Arsenal listed people will be there.

If you get there early and no one is around, ask for marius(one of the owners) and he'll get the game on.

Good luck with your move. Never been to Big D.
Great to hear that you have instant friends the moment you arrive.

So when are you making your trek across the pond?

I pray this season, but I doubt it. I'm shooting for next season. Maybe hit a few
countries in a week with a fellow footie fan?

if you make it to Scotland, I can show you around. My visa is for four years and I'm hoping to turn it into a permanent move.

4 years Chris? Guess I won't be seeing you at the pub this year then.

Maybe you will. Remember Liverpool is about 3 hrs away plus I'll be in Texas at Christmas time until Feb 1st.

I'm working and living in temp housing in Addison at the moment.

Anyone watching the match tomorrow? I tried the pub mentioned above as well as The Londoner and no dice for showing it.

Thoughts?

Another Dallas area Gooner sticking my head in to say hi, I'd love to attend some get-togethers in the future. I live in Little Elm to be exact, anyone else close to me? See ya!

By tomorrow I assume you mean Sunday. Trinity Hall is showing it delayed but I am going to watch it live laying on my couch. Will have to wait for a live game at a pub.

Little Elm is a long drive from the pubs we go to but for the big matches would be worth the drive down. There is a Londoner in McKinney (or at least used to be) and they should show some games.

Little Elm is to the west of where I used to live(Frisco). Which part of LE do you live in? If you live nears the Frisco side, you can take the Tollway down. Might take you at least a good hour or so do get down to Trinity Hall.

Addison is just a stones throw away from Trinity Hall.

1. Tollway south to 635(east) to 75(south) and exit Mockingbird. Take the U-turn before the lights and get into the far right lane and turn in right. Go to the parking garage. Trinity hall is on the 2nd level.

2. Tollway south to Mockingbird. Go east on Mockingbird and then when you get to 75, turn left like you would be going to get on northbound 75, but stay to the right.

The Londoner is ok, but they won't serve food(at least they didn't the one time I was down there for a match) and the viewing is crap.

I'm definitely working too hard these days. They're starting to blur together. But yes, I meant sunday.

Thanks for the tip on the delay.

Yeah, Trinity Hall is laid out as pub not a sports bar so not the best screen. It has got better over the years as they tweak it.
