The very reasons I would give my left arm to have Onyewu be the starting central defender for 1860.:D I would also get Cory Gibb too.:D

You just want a new target for your diatribes because Berhalter is going to retire soon.

Thanks Panic, didn't realize my current sig's youtube link is dead. I'll have to look into that. I don't know why the one was taken down. There's still a few of the same up. I'll just link to one of those. Thanks for the head's up though.

And Fraulein96, I agree with the post you linked to as well, it's basically a well-put explanation of why the BigSoccer Law occurs. Hey DeadFingers, how about a link back to the previous thread for late comers. Oh, hell, I'll do it myself:

Naw...I like those guys. Berhalter was just a bit much for me after the last WC qualifying performance against Germany. I actually had a bit of respect for him before that but that game set his stardard and he has rarely disappointed since then. A few good games, but he gifts more goals than Barthez used to.

As for the 1860 Mafia, I think DF posted the wrong file. :D

I dunno. That 1860 Mafia Fat Tony looks a little too disturbingly like Werner Lorant.

He might need the gun too, for "ami's". :p

OK, I knew it wouldn't be long. 1860's in the black and has cash in the bank...

... bring on the crazy transfer rumors!! :p

Unreliable sources in England are reporting Didi Hamann possibly coming to 1860. I'll believe it when I see it.

The "News of the World" (wie Bild) report mentioned that the reasoning was 1860 was trying to gain promotion this season. I certainly hope not - remember the Steffan Hoffman debacle??

Other names flying around rumored to move to 1860 to replace Schäfer on the left side are defenders Uwe Möhrle of Wolfsburg and Rene Klingbeil (formerly of HSV).

Reuter's already commented on the Hamann rumor as "complete nonsense", and thinks the report is amusing.

We'll have to see about the other two...

It's a crazy report, but I can see why they would start the rumor.

1) With all of Sven's new signings, Didi probably won't see much time on the pitch with City this season.

2) Didi is past the point of money being a deciding factor for his next and last career move.

3) Didi is a Muenchner at heart and he sure isn't going to be signed by Bayern.....

I think News of the World is worse than "Bild", but that's neither here nor there. And as you said, Reuter already called it ridiculous. But who knows, maybe when Didi sees he won't get much pitch time, maybe he'll decide it's time to come home.......

I like Mohrle. Really never cared for Klingbeil.

Didn't say 1860 were better than the other two. Just that the others can't say they are in the next round.

Whether they played in Verl or not, they still played teams they should have beaten.

Check out the left arm positioning of her buddy on her right. That should explain it for you. :D
