Didn't say 1860 were better than the other two. Just that the others can't say they are in the next round.

Whether they played in Verl or not, they still played teams they should have beaten.

This wasn't really meant as a serious comment - just a thought on the fact that, as the exact wording was "at least we won in Verl", the other teams would have had no chance at all to say exactly that, even if they had won their games ;).

Kicker is not the gospel when it comes to lineups. That is their best guess.

I'm thinking with those people out there, that's going to be a 4-4-2 with a "double six", Goektan and di Salvo up front, and Wolff and Bierofka creating the offensive attack from the wings.

Also newly promoted U-23 Timo Gebhart is also out with "Angina". I hope that doesn't mean the same thing as in English. :eek:

Looks like we'll need 2-3 goals on Sunday, since Augsburg's attackers look pretty good - and with Berhalter playing center defense plus no Torben Hoffmann also at CB covering for his mistakes. I hope DiSalvo's up for the task.

Which is more than likely exactly where they got it from. Even if it is on a club's website, it is a best guess. Official lineups are not given until match day. But it usually goes that way.

And it is still what I thought it would be, just that I don't believe Göktan will play behind di Salvo, but rather up front with him.

I missed it, but when I heard the score on the autobahn, I let out a ROAR of joy!

I'll be at the Allianz Arena for the home opener on Sunday against FCK.

Just got my 1860 catalogue in the mail. Have to had it these guys, they do it right. Got my FC Köln catalogue last week, and it was a borefest. Other than one cute girl, the catalogue was blah. gray, white, a bit of red... just boring.
