What channels have you found with the best coverage. I get all the espn (2, U, and the one with poker on it 24/7--should called ESPN-Harrahs....) and one channel in spanish that (telefutura.) Should I add the extra FOXs )SW, FSC, FSW? I'll pay to get my soccer fix... thankfully I may watch ESPN-Harrahs, but go to the casino rarely.

Just wanted to know what you guys like... I have found I have been watching less of the game and more of the officiating.... I am a junkie

From what I've seen FSC and Gol TV seem to have the most soccer coverage. I've been debating for a while whether to add the Sports Pack on my DirecTV service to get those two channels. I'm getting a little tired of watching matches in Spanish on TeleFutura. I will say that I've never had an ounce of spanish instruction in my 30 years but I'm learning plenty of it lately watching those games.

It is definitely worth the money to get FSC & Gol TV. FSC lots of EPL and MLS & US national teams Men and Women. Gol TV lost of South American and a surprising amount of European Soccer, La Liga etc.

I switched from cable to Dish Network about 3 years ago because in my market Dish with FSC & Gol TV was about $30 less per month than Cable. If you choose to go that route, I can send in your name on the referral program for free installation etc.

FSC and golTV are both great! Also, in the fall, check out ESPNU and CSTV for college soccer games.

I subscribe to Setanta and FSC and Gol on Direct TV. I get almost every EPL game every weekend on either FSC or Setanta, and I drive my wife absolutely crazy, which to me is priceless! I probably watch 6-7 games a weekend during the season. It is not for everyones wallet, but I dont have a lot of vices, and I rationalize that my ref fees adequately cover my satellite indulgence.

You and me both, brother.

The most recent match I watched...probably Sunday...at about 40 minutes of the first half, the announcer on Telefutura let out with: "Que pasa para arbitro Terry Whelan?" Now I don't generally understand entire sentences but I got this one right away! I wasn't even facing the TV but that made me spin around like it was ESPN...although the ESPN announcers probably wouldn't have been so perceptive.

For the record at that point in the match I had kinda disagreed maybe with a couple of his calls but wasn't watching the whole match. After that, however, he got a bunch of tight ones in a row right on and did really well as far as I could tell.

I've just this week started working on Spanish software left on my computer from a roommate who took classes in it. We'll see how quickly it works (or how slowly I do).

The strange thing was that Tim Weyland and his white sneakers must have been on the original schedule for that match but it was clearly Jair Maruffo out there. Some one must have straightened them out at halftime because they got it right in the second half. Perhaps Weyland was suspended after failing to send off Mehdi Ballouchi for his vicious flying elbow on Sasha Victorine last week. Somehow he decided it was only worth a caution and it happened literally 5 yards away from him and he seemed to be looking right at the play.

Not sure how many here are interested but one other channel in that sports pack from DirecTV that has me thinking about adding it is Versus. They are carrying MISL coverage this year.

The strange thing was that Tim Weyland....

Thanks for correcting the name for me. One more bit of knowledge to save to my hard drive.
