Do you also can't wait for the new season to start. I'm getting crazy now.

who do you think is going to be good and who not.
I expect a lot from the german league since a few years. It's getting more exciting every year, great crowd etc. great signings. Underrated comp.
Also expect much from Arsenal with van Persie in shape. Think that man utd will do no good this year. I have my doubts with Liverpool. Chelsea as always the computerfootball. It's going to be about Arsenal and Chelsea this year!!
Dutch top teams have strengthend theirselves very good, they might make a surprise in Europe.
In Spain I think Real Madrid is going to do well, and also in Europe. I don't know what to expect from Barca, they are good but they have to make sure they don't go play like fc hollywood2.
Atletico good buys like forlan. Sevilla is getting more mature (good defender boulahrouz from chelsea hired). Is going to be a exciting league with Zaragoza, villareal???? and valencia.
Italy is going to be better. I think they are back to basic.
AC Milan is always good, and stabil 20 years the same leaders etc. Inter made good buys (Chivu best player in the world). Juventus is back. Have to see how AS ROMA will do. Maybe Lazio will be better.

what do you expect from the new season

A Darkhorse will win the CL

Spurs will hype up their chances even more and fail

Bayern will win UEFA Cup

All Chelsea's wins will be a load of boring 1-0

Some top teams will get kicked out of cups by shockingly bad opposition

The Premiership will be be won by either Man Utd and Chelsea

La Liga will be won by either Barcelona or Real Madrid

Seria A will be won by either Inter or Juventus

Bayern Munich will reclaim the Bundesliga

There will be at least one representatve of the Prem, La liga and Seria A in next seasons CL semi finals (one of them AC Milan).

The Uefa cup will be won by a German or Spanish team.

All pretty predictable and boring opinions, but I really dont see any big surprises next season.

The one certainty on BS, will be the emergence of a million different best league threads on the UEFA board. Oh joy!

I have a feeling that manchester united will fail very hard this year, Arsenal will do good, their young players have become mature.

Blimey Zippy, your posts are in probably every thread I read. As a newish member to BS and the UEFA board can I just say welcome.

To become a fully fledged member of the UEFA board you just need to repeat the UEFA board oath:

I do solemnly swear.....to argue about best leagues......have totally biased opinions when discussing my team and country......and to wind up Villareal8 and Bartio88 at every given opportunity.

Regarding AC Milan, I just get the feeling that their priority will come down to the Champions League as the season goes on, and a lot of their players are getting a bit old. I think the likes of Inter and Juve have alot more depth to their squads to go through the season.

NL will have an epic title race this year. That's for sure.

- Bayern will be back on top in the Bundesliga and get to the UEFA Cup Final.

- Inter will choke yet again in Europe and will be involved in a scuffle with the team that eliminates them.

- Manchester and Chelsea will battle it out for the EPL title again.

- The CL final will include at least one English club.

- Marseille will destroy Lyon's grip on Ligue 1 and become champions.

- Feyenoord will challenge for the title in Holland.

Chelsea will win the EPL......and get to the semis in the CL (maximum).
ManU has good chances to reach the CL final this year. Liverpool will not get to the semis this year. Arsenal.......no idea, good for a surprise.

Sevilla or Barca will win La Liga. Sevilla has good chances to reach the quarterfinals of the CL. Barca......at least CL semifinals.
Real.......I (as Real fan) don't really expect much this season. Well, maybe they surprise me though. ;-)

Seria A: Milan or Inter
Juve will be lucky to reach a CL-qualifying place.
CL: Milan will reach the semis. Inter......as always bad in Europe.

Lyon will win League 1 (quelle surprise!).

Ajax will win the Dutch league this year.

Germany? Stuttgart will suck in CL. Bayern will win the league and reach the Uefa-Cup finals.

The EPL bashing AND the La Liga bashing will continue. But I am hopeful .......at the end of the season most former opponents will live in harmony .....after having agreed that neither the English nor the Spanish, but the Turkish league is the best and toughest one. ;-)

Sorry, Fry. Was just a random choice. The Turkish league may not belong to the European top leagues....but it is definitely one of the better leagues in Europe.

:D No problem. We know how bad our league gets. Only 3-4 teams are good enough for the title, and the rest are elevator teams or stationary middle teams. I guess our only way to get our voices heard in Europe is by succeeding in the UEFA/CL with the 3-4 teams we got.

My predictions are:

Man U will win the EPL
Feyenoord will leave Ajax in the dust
Milan will probably repeat last year's success.
Bayern will top Bundesliga with its current squad running miles around Schalke.
The Boro will be close to relegation.
At least 2 more European players will move to USA.
Fenerbahce will win the Turkcell Super League.
Sevilla will make it to the quarter finals.
Anderlecht will top the Belgium league again.
Dinamo Kiev will be followed by Shaktar.
The favorites will move up to the group stages in the CL, no surprises.

Oh, I don't know, lad, Dynamo Kyiv are my team but they're not looking pretty sitting in 11th place after 5 matches, 9 points behind Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk and 7 points behind Shakhtar. This may be the year Ukrainian Premier League becomes a three-horse race. Dnipro look real.
