How could Villaneuva go from Ajax (or was it PSV?) saying it had something 'interesting' and take a real close look at him.....to being kindof average (for a high talent) his freshman year....to getting dumped early from U-20 team....to being hard to find?

The kid has got to have talent..apparently the physical is a problem. Has he lost his will to get better, or what's up?

Watched them play Magic on Friday night in something of a scrimmage, as both teams were already bound for finals. The most impressive player on the field for Texans was the to-me unknown Sajjadi, a dinky left mid with speed to burn and a precise first touch, even when motoring at high speed and closely marked. He skinned the Magic defenders every time in 1v1 situations, too.

Man, he looked sharp.

Akpan, scored. TopdrawerSoccer (http://www.topdrawersoccer.com/articles.aspx?article=2539) has a nice write up on all the games.
