...I dont think we'd ever lose a game at home. Imagine the Scouse ********** playing in an atmosphere like this....Imagine 75000 people screaming "YOU SCOUSE BASTARDS" at the top of their lungs......they'd shit themselves. Turn your volume up.

Must be about the 10th time I've posted this on various boards but I love it. Admittedly, it does sound, to my untrained ear, as though someone has been altering the sound level of the vid and I'm not quite sure it was as loud as they'd have you believe.

Besiktas has the loudest fans in the world. Its confirmed. They even have it in the guiness book of world records.

132 decibels. Record previously held by the Denver broncos at 128.

The funny thing is that the Denver broncos had a full stadium of fans 76,123, all of which were told to yell at the same time. It was not for any specific team, it was a full stadium effort to break the record.

The Besiktas fans broke that record unintentionally, and away on a european night. That means that a record held by 76,123 fans was broken by a group of maybe 15,000 crazy turks.

If Old Trafford were to ever sound like this....

We could forget about prawn sandwiches.

Hol-ee crap.

Speaking of away fans, I saw United at Fulham last season and the United away supporters were unbelievable. No prawn sandwiches in their lunchboxes. I was in the Fulham section behind one goal (tickets courtesy of a Fulham season ticket holder) and the United supporters were across the way behind the other goal. Craven Cottage being so small you not only heard them, you felt them. The passion was amazing. It just washed over the field and filled the stadium. "Jose, are you listenin'..." Goosebumps. Even now.

The one away match I would have loved to seen last season was the Everton away, when we pretty much killed off the title with the comeback. When Rooney scored that 3rd goal and ran to "our" stand...wow.
