Every time Reyna on the field everything gets boggdown and the pace of the game slows to a crawl.
Why Stammer still playing?, I guess BA owes him favors.
Letch and Freeman belong to an A League team.
BA should retire and watch the RB games at home infront his big screen.

You might want to add Bruce Arena to the list. Did anyone see the TFC/Aston Villa friendly yesterday? Well, Todd Dunivant was terrific for TFC and even scored a goal. I believe that Bruce Arena made a big, big mistake when he traded Dunivant for Goldwaithe. He essentially traded a National Team calibre player for a backup left back, as Goldy hasn't showed crap in the games he's played for us. Let's not forget getting rid of Marvell Wynne to make Freeman, who has been horrid, the starting right back. Yes, I know, we needed cap space? How about getting rid of the big waste of cap space named Marcus Schopp? How about Van Den Berg? One could really make a case for getting rid of Watterus also. And Richards on the bench? A few games ago we were losing and Arena takes out Mathis. Today, we're losing and he take out Altidore. WTF? Oh, and I'm even more firm in my belief that what we needed in a DP was not Reyna. We needed a DP attacking midfielder that could actually put in a great pass for our forwards to run onto. We have no options but to lob the ball into the box and hope that someone gets a head to it. Yes, it worked against DC but we should really should have lost that game. For God's sake, Juan Pablo Angel is playing so frigging deep he's almost in line with the defenders because he has nobody who can give him a killer pass. Man, we are so really, really bad right now, it's embarrassing. I didn't think that Stammler was horrible and Arena keeps him because he can play many positions. Leitch was passable also, but Where was Mendes? See you all at the next game.

Freeman hasnt been horrid. He is getting back into form right now. He has been pretty good the past few games. Which side did the first goal come from? The left because Goldie blows.

Wynne is actually turning into a fantastic player. His offensive abilities are much improved and he can turn EPL players...anyone see him against Aston Villa? I thought he was really impressive.

Altidore got hurt. He hurt his calf in the first half and couldnt continue playing on it.

Mendes was sick so Arena was forced to mix up the defense.

Freeman isn't crap. He was rushed back from his injury. He's still quality but then again rushing to judgement is the norm around here.

Once the injuries started to pile up things were starting to go down hill. Arena had to rush these players to come back and when they did, they weren't at a 100%, but then again most of you want to fire Arena and change the entire damned team.

Not gonna happen.

Let's get thru the season please. Still have plenty to go. But the sky is falling, so I'll leave you alone.

I think wolyniec and reyna really killed our offensive build up tonight, whether it was a poor pass or lack of creativity they bogged us down, I'm also let down by arena I really didn't like alot of his decisions with the national side, and now with rbny but we'll see

i agree with whomever said that trading dunivant was a mistake (i've said it many times), but not only because he's a good player, but because i think it took the wind out of the team's sails. again, not that only one player makes a team, but duni, parke, stammler and mendes had a tight bond on and off the field and it showed. now they can't find a form. there've been too many personnel moves and/or changes and it shows. i thought leitch played pretty well until that 2nd goal, where it looked as though everyone had taken a lunch break, leaving jonny all alone in front of the posts! i'm just so sad for the team and for us, as it seems we're flailing.

Stammler had a pretty good match and is probably one of MLS's better values. You are nuts.

Freeman not a terrible job tonight either. He's not a stand out by any stretch but he is definately a competent defender.

Leitch really did something today to make you think he doesnt belong on the field? What exactly? He was pretty neutral from what I can tell.

Reyna..... Ummmm I was never extremely high on him to begin with, and yet, he is still disappointing me. I'd like to see him sit for a few and attempt to reenergize.

All in all though, this isnt an individual problem, its much more of a team problem. These guys have all but completely lost their confidence and cohesiveness.

When you build a team with older guys, in juries and heat and length of season will take their toll . i think a few guys need to sit and take some time off ie reyna, Mathis, VDB. Where is Schopp? If he can't earn PT now then we might as well cut our losses here. Our guys look lathargic and tired.

Good question. I know he wasn't doin much when he played, but where the hell is he? If we are not gonna use him, I agree lets cut our losses. Or, maybe I'm wrong? Would anyone like to see him have another shot out there? It defenitely doesn't make sense to pay him to sit.

I'm a new guy on here, but from what I saw last night Woly and Reyna were the biggest problems. I thought the defense was not too shabby, until it got to be a long ball contest and then they broke down a bit.

No creativity in the middle and poor play from Woly, along with the injury slowing Altidore down, were the reasons for the result in my eyes

1.Richards no talent he's garbage send him back you u13 play he might have some success.

2.VDB waste of money slow,can't head a ball, looks so stiff he really shows very few good qualities...

3.Reyna great player throughout his career but it's over.

4.Goldy dam I miss Duni prove me wrong heck I'd place you on the left wing and see what you can do.

Stammler doesn't belong on that list, he had a fine game last night and gave it his all. There were plenty who didn't belong on the pitch but I don't think Seth was one of them.

I think we can all agree that the Dunivant trade was a big mistake. But I think Freeman has done very well for the most part (last night notwithstanding but it looks like he was rushed back from injury, as others have pointed out).

I don't have a problem with Richards either. He's young and will get better. He was only a 2nd round draft pick. Sinisa will also be good once he gets a chance. Mathis hasn't done much lately but he showed signs earlier. I think he'll come around. VDB had his moments early on. He's decent as a left wing. And of course Angel is awesome.

That leaves Waterreus and Reyna as the only other real busts, IMHO. I agree that Waterreus probably shouldn't have been acquired because Conway is mostly fine. And Reyna? Well he's Bruce's guy, obviously, but he's been terrible.
