Its pretty much too hard to say because there will still be a lot of transfers happening, like in Man City's case when players are just starting to arrive through the doors.

Regarding Chelsea, I can't see Wright-Phillips coming ahead of Joe Cole. If Robben stays rather than go to Real Madrid, he may have strong claims for a starting berth. Makelele is getting on in years and will come under pressure from the precocious Mikel. I also have a sneaky feeling Tal Ben Haim may be employed as right-back. Definite starters for them: Cech, Terry, Carvalho, Essien, Lampard (assuming he stays), Drogba (and I suspect Ashley Cole).

You're right, I didn't put in Robben cuz I was unsure about him and Cole I figured would still try to find his form. However I still think Malouda would still start ahead of him. As for left back, Cole was injured before and Ben Haim was a new guy but now Bridge is injured too so Ben Haim will probably be employed as LB at the beginning of the season.

So who do you supposed will start for Makelele? Ballack has been pure shite and Mikel is too inexperienced and hot-headed I feel to be used consistently. Probably Sidwell, unless Ballack finds his form which I have a sneaky feeling he will be on fire this year.

i could be wrong but i expect mikel to get more playing time than makelele this season. he's a prodigious talent, i was very impressed with him towards the tail-end of last season.

regarding ben haim, i think you're right, while ashley cole and bridge are injured, he will be deployed as left-back at the start of the campaign.

i think your formation is correct, with chelsea reverting to two wingers. i think these two spots will be battled out between malouda, robben (if he stays) and joe cole. i think wright-phillips is behind all three in the pecking order.

I haven't got a clue what Bolton's team is going to be like, we've signed about 400 players, and have half a dozen options in most midfield and attack positions.

If Chelsea have any sense, they'll go with:

Cech
Ferreira Terry Carvalho A. Cole
Essien
Lampard Ballack
J. Cole...............Robben
Drogba

In the Manchester United side, It'll be Carrick and Hardgreaves splitting the time. Carrick will begin the season as the starter.

Tottenham

.........................Robinson

That's likely, I guess, but barring injuries I would go with this... maybe?

........Berbatov.......Bent.........Keane.........
...Zokora..............Jenas............Lennon....
...Bale...........King.......Dawson........Chimbonda

Malbranque, Boateng, Kaboul, Young-Pyo, Defoe, and Tainio would all probably make a lot of starts, though.
