When can we expect to see them play? Any hope that Alberto plays against Zagreb?

No. both of them are doing individual exercises. Owomoyela might join the team training next week.
Albertos analysis from the hospital still isn't in. Schaaf said today that he wants to bring him closer to the team really slowly.

Frings, Borowski, Fritz, Womé, C. Alberto: 2-3 weeks

So maybe Dortmund or Madrid match,
if everything runs perfect.

Owomoyela warmed up with the team yesterday but does individual training this week and will join the team training next week.

Borowski is doing individual exercises with the ball

Frings has been doing a little bit with the ball but is mainly running

Carlos Alberto had two days of individual training with Schaaf earlier this week and is back in team training now (and so is Schaaf)

Wome and Fritz are doing individual training as well and might be back with the team next week.

Great news! So hopefully by the time we go to Madrid the only injured player we'll have is Frings. :)

Or maybe not? The bundesliga website says he is hoping to still play against Real Madrid. I'm confused

Don´t forget Hunt and Klasnic. :(

Yes, he said, his injury is not so hard. :)
His goal is to be fit for the Real match.

Harnik hopes for comeback in Madrid (Kreiszeitung.de (German)) (http://syke.mzv.net/news/stories/werder/?id=90361)

Klasnic has a date with doctor Kindermann in Saarbrücken tomorrow. If he gives his OK he can start training with the team again.

Wome has still not recovered from his knee injury and went to France to have it checked there.

Fritz and Borowski might be back in team training next week.

Carlos Alberto is under strong medical administration because his body breaks down under heavy training, when he's back with the squad, it goes well for two days, and on the third he gets slight injuries and problems, according to Klaus Allofs.
Apparently this is caused by sleeping problems that he didn't have before moving to Bremen.

Aaron Hunt's injury is supposedly much worse than everybody thought:

The doctors have no idea when he will be ever able to play again.
The knee is giving him some problems, but his groin hurts the most.A problem is, that he can't fix his problem through an operation. He tried individual training, but the pain instantly came back, he's being quoted saying "it just makes no sense this way".

The sad story is that Werder can't really count on Hunt and Klasnic, for a very long time.

4x4s, what about this regarding klasnic? :

No update on Klasnic before the Stuttgart match.

It will take him some time to regain true match fitness to be really useful.
If he can start training with the team, and getting a few minutes here and there, things will get better, but Klasnic hasn't seen any action since forever, so even stepping on a football field for a few minutes of a game would be huge progress.

It´s only speculation, but it´s not unlikely, that it has to do with the
difficult transfer, the tax investigations in Brasil and his situation so far.

update:
Sebastian Boenisch and Patrick Owomoyela are missed for the matches
against Stuttgart and Wolfsburg. Owomoyela got a light injury at the warm-up
before the Real match.

Fritz and Borowski are optimistic to participate in team training
"in 4 to 5 days".

CA's sleep problems are the strangest... after all, it's hard to find a quieter, more sleep-condusive city than Bremen. ;)

Maybe they should make a recording of the ambient noise in his hometown and play that while he tries to sleep? For all you know, his sleep problems might be because it's *too* quiet in Bremen at night.

The injury list just isn't getting shorter!!!
