that was a lucky draw. I didn't see much improvement. IMO we need 2 more weeks before we are competitive.

the announcers said we played a diamond midfield but actually it looked more like a 2-2 midfield. It looked like some players weren't quite sure what their position was (especially Carlos Alberto).

I'm pretty sure we will see this midfield against Braunschweig and Bochum:

The game speed was higher than in the test matches before
and the whole team more fit. About Carlos Alberto i agree,
he hasn´t yet understood the system,
but time will hopefully solve this as you said.

Werder Bremen were drawn to meet the winners of the NK Domzale/Dinamo Zagreb matchup in the 3rd round of CL Qualifying. Werder will host the first leg.


Celtic were drawn against Spartak Moscow. Spartak will host the first leg.


Ajax will meet the winners of the MSK Zilna v. Slavia Prague matchup. Ajax will host the first leg.


Liverpool will meet France's FC Toulouse. The French club will host the first leg.


Arsenal will meet Sparta Prague. First leg will be in Prague.

Yesterday we played on the island of Fünen against Esbjerg fB of the 1st danish league. The result was 1:1. Sanogo scored again. Werder was pretty good appearently in the first half. We played with 7 players from Werder II in the 2nd half. Dusko Tosic played the first half and did a pretty good job according to the reports.
