Zigic would be massive though, shame it won't happen. :)

Werder has scheduled a press conference for today and it's being rumoured that they might present Zigic.

He's supposed to have offers from Fenerbahce, Manchester City and Werder.
Werders offer just came in last night and is supposed to be the best for Zigic so far.

BUT he's supposed to cost 18-22 Mio €. Santander is looking for players and Werder might pay something like 15 Mio and put Daniel Jensen on top.

I find it very odd that "Kicker" has nothing on a piece of news potentially that big. SportBild.de, who usually doesn't care if the news they report is fully true or not has nothing on this.

What I'm saying is that I trust the Spanish press about as much as I trust Michael Jackson in a room full of eight year-old boys and the Sport1.de article just repeats what the Spanish are reporting.

Not saying it won't or can't happen, but just finding it odd that none of the more respected outlets here in Germany are reporting anything about it.

That means Schulz is on his way to Hannover I guess. :(

According to the newspaper "Die Welt" Dusko Tosic is signed.

That is why I originally said I did not think he would come at all. But then it hit me that the last time I said that was with Ribery and Bayern.

The "Schulle situation" - update:

The transfer details with Hannover are cleared
(transfer fee about 2.5 million EUR), but meanwhile
according to kicker another candidate joins the poker:
Spartak Moscow offers Schulz,
who made 3 NT matches for Germany,
an annual salary of 2.5 million EUR.

But until end of August no transfer can be expected, because
Allofs stated today, that "Schulz won´t leave until the CL quali matches are over" (it´s because of the Wome injury).

Still, I don't really get this transfer. We're deep in midfield, we're especially deep in DM.
He could play LB but we still have Tarnat and I think Tarnat wants to play in his last season.

Schulz wants to play, he could sit on the bench at Werder, so why join us?
