wow as much as I want Bielsa unless he can garantee us a WC spot then Its pretty extreme for that much money not many teams will be able to pay that other than US/Mex or someone in europe

no more colombian league coachs... we need a real foriegn one...
Pinto better colombian league coach than the ath nacioanl one and Bernal .... seriously everyone is bitching but the truth is there isnt any one else for the money...
I mean we could use the Pachuca coach?? he loves colombians and is a foriegn coach haha prob be around 50-60,000
I mean I would love Lippi, Capello, Bielsa, Pekerman but the truth is they wont come for any less than 120,000 a month and we wont give that to them and they prob wouldnt want to coach colombia
I say we give them 75,000 a month and if they qualify us we give them an extra million :) if not they go to hell and are fired

I hate the fed for making it bogota alot of people are complaing about the altitude Pibe and some of the players
I think its stupid to waste a million dollars on breathing machines so our players can get use to the atitude of Bogota.... why play their if our top players wont be able to !!!! Just because its bogota and the capital??? IF u dont like the fans in barranquilla maybe the team shouldnt sell out like they do. At least in Barranquilla u didnt have to buy stupid machines so our players could have an advantage which I think is super cheap. I think it should be in cali or med... so peoples stop bitching
another thing for those stupid breathing machines we are going to buy why not use that money and get Bielsa??? The former S. Korea, Austrilla and current Russia coach contract is for 2.4 million (2 years) and runs out in 2008 why NOT GET HIM !!!
We want a world class team and a great coach but we want to pay them Colombian league coach wages and this is why we suck

he said he would coach us and was intersted he just wanted more money... he wants 2 million to coach chile... think we prob have to give him the same...
WC Coach = $2 million + for 2 years
that is what I though we were going to do have Pinto for 1 year see how it works have him for dirt cheap 30,000 a month and then if he doesnt work get a foriegn high priced coach.... which we should do but our fed rather waste the money on breathing machines so we can play in bogota:mad:

I don't think that a foreign coach is really necessary, the coach just has to be willing to experiment with the players until he finds an effective lineup. I watched the Copa and Colombia attacked but lacked a defensive unity/order. If the coach would tell his players that they cannot sacrifice their defensive discipline just because their down/attacking things may have come out differently. The poor performance could also be due to you guys missing mosqueda, he is your best defender...what happened to him, i didn't see him playing?

JC ESCOBAR is definitely in form right now only thing is that he hopefully doesnt go to russia

he doesn't want to...him and quintero are trying to come back to tolima becasue they don't like being in russia, also the russian team is seriously in debt and might not be able to pay tolima, therefore making them comeback..that would be the best and then it would be good to see them go to brasil and then maybe europe

I really like JC Escobar he is really good and put him in with Edwin Valencia at midfield :)
and Pino and Guarin on the wings :) to bad we can only have 4-5 middies at a time because I love to also have Mcnelly, Ferriera ,Toja, Chitiva,Castrillon,Soto in there :)
Maybe we can have something like this
Ospina
Zuniga-Mosquera-Zapata-Bustos
Soto/Chitiva-Castrillon-Valencia-Guarin
Pino-Angel
as for sub (or friendly squads)
Hector Landurazzi(think thats how u spell his name Once Keeper)
De la Cuesta-Luis Perea-Josmier Mosquara(Nelson Rivas)-Anchico
Toja-Mcnelly-JC Escobar-Ferriera
Freddy Montero-Arzuaga
Also like Mao Molina, Robinson Zapata, Yanez and alot others but we have to wait to see how they do with their new teams and at what form they are on at them moment

I like the pool you put together with the exception of Ospina being the starter, but really can't argue if he is made the starter at this point, it's a toss up. He really needs to be given every opportunity to prove himself in friendlies, I'll say that.
Obviously players could pop up that shine at the moment such as Patino, Rey, maybe Bolano. But overall this group is the group that should be looked to to lead us to S. Africa.

no one is forgetting him I think he is being over hyped look he played 1 game with our NT agaisnt panama and did well tho panama had basically nothing to offer us it was if like we played our sub 17 ... we might have had a better challege now he plays in france but no one knows if he will be a starter its going to take him time to adapt.. the 1st 4 games of qualifiers he is useless for colombia as we should prefer him as a starter in france over anything else.
Castrillion is the best player for colombia every time he puts on the NT shirt the same with Aguilar and no one ever brings them up
We have alot of promising players and ones recently exported... lets wait a bit to bring the ones who havent won their starting spots yet... and lets not forget our league is good and we should use home based players as well

Are you serious? There is a whole thread about Aguilar here.
