I can't think of any tournaments next summer to look forward to so why not bring back the Nike Cup? (or you could rename it to something more fitting) I'm not going to pretend it's going to outweigh the Euro Cup, but that doesn't mean we couldn't invite some good teams from other regions here.

What i'd like to see:

Group A:
1. Host-USA
2. CONMEBOL-Colombia, Paraguay, Uruguay, Peru, Ecuador, Chile, Venezuela, Brazil, or Argentina
3. AFC-Japan, Korea Republic, China, Saudi Arabia, Australia, Iran, or Iraq(yeah, i'd invite them...i think it'd be good publicity and good for the two countries fighting against terrorism)
4. CAF/UEFA-(the below CAF teams &...) Italy, France, Germany, England, Spain, Portugal, Holland, Ireland Republic, Scotland, Czech Republic, Ukraine, Sweden, Croatia, Romania, Greece, Switzerland, Denmark, Russia, Poland, Israel, Serbia, Bulgaria, Slovakia, Turkey, Norway, Finland, or Belgium

Group B:
1. CONCACAF-Mexico, Canada, or Costa Rica
2. CONMEBOL-(the above CONMEBOL teams)
3. AFC/UEFA- (the above AFC & UEFA teams)
4. CAF-Nigeria, Cameroon, Guinea, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Mali, Senegal, Angola, Togo, Egypt, Morocco, or Tunisia

*I understand that the Euro Cup will be going on so count off any team that qualifies.

*Instead of doing a normal round robin tournament, i'd like to have the final be with whatever team is opposite of them in rankings. in other words, first place-A1 v B1, third place-A2 v B2, fifth place-A3 v B3, seventh place-A4 v B4

*another rule, i'd like to see is have no limit on the roster. and maybe allow 6 substiutions. but maybe i'm pushing it.

Sweet, you have you're own thread!

Dude, World Cup Qualifying starts next summer. We have a home and home series with a purported minnow in the summer and then the semifinal round should kick off in august and go through october/november.

At least that's how it worked last time round.

two games doesn't seem like a lot for a summer. i would think we could easily fit in this Cup.
