Ed.... i think youre right.. his days are numbered unfortunately if he doesnt put a good string together...if he doestn win 1 of his next 2, i bet he's out OR hopefully they will let him retire to a front office job... or scouting job... or something...
we shall see... but we need a win!!!

I'd love to see him succeed here, he'll always be a legend to me for what he's done to the club but I can't see it happening any more. I supported him throughout last season but unless there's a dramatic upturn in results in the next few weeks I think he'll have to go which would be such a shame, especially after a promising pre season. Still, as long as he's here I'll support him, I can't stand fans who boo or say things against the team during matches.
Got my ticket for Newcastle which I'm looking forward to very much, plus I'm trying something new for the Watford game, I'm coming back by an overnight train, something I've always wanted to try as with the distances involved I've never been to a home evening game, which will get me back to London just in time to head off to college. I must be mad to do it but I think the attendance will be very low that game so I want to be there plus I should try and get the most out of my season ticket.

Apparently Seip's going on loan to Newcastle because of an argument with Sturrock. If this is true then Luggy has to go, it's his responsibility to keep the support of the players, especially one of the best.

I think you will find there is more to the story re Seip, He has been officially put on the Transfer list, and will not play for Argyle again.
Craig Noone has gone on loan to Exeter for 3 months.
Rory Fallon played and scored for NZ in a 3-1 win over Jordon in a friendly.
On loan players Sheridan and Judge played for Rep of Ireland U21 against Estonia, Sheridan scored in a 1-1 draw.

re: Seip... what gives? i mean he is one of our better players and now hes on the transfer list???
i read it this way... if he gets picked up by a team, luggy is in trouble (meaning him and seip had a blow up) and if some other team wants him, it must be a personality clash..
if he DOESNT get picked up... then apparently, he's doing something he shouldnt be doing... Argyle dont want him associated with the club, and the other clubs dont want him either..
will be interesting to see...
oh, and by the way... WE NEED A WIN!!!

Never thought I'd say this but I think Sturrock has to go. I don't know if that would be the right thing to do or who would replace him but I don't think he is the man for the job any more. If we fail to beat Watford I'll be completely convinced.

Ed.... it comes to a point that the team isnt getting it done... and is that Sturrock's fault, is it Holloway's fault (after all he bailed on the team, did he see this coming), but a change has to be made... i mean we are how many games into the season, and we dont have a win... we have 2 ties... im sure Sturrock is too proud to resign, the old guard at the club have too much history to fire him... maybe the new guard in there will do the deed...
in either case, something has to change, or we are going to D1 next year.
Ottawa... whats the scoop you hear on PASOTI?

Hold the marching orders.
3 new players join Argyle on loan, 2 from Man U. James Chester and David Gray on 3 month loan http://www.pafc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10364~1801046,00.html and Shane Lowry from Aston Villa http://www.pafc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10364~1799963,00.html
All 3 are defenders, Gray was on loan with Argyle last year. Chester was Man U's reserve player of the year.

Good news that, I know Gray's decent, don't know anything about the other two but from what I've heard they're good enough.
I'm trying to get to sleep but I'm far too excited about the game tomorrow, just got a feeling we're going to get something, I know it doesn't seem likely but I really think we will.

Ed.... i hope youre right.. i hope Argyle put a strong showing on the field tomorrow... but against certain promotion team Newcastle, if i were a betting man, i would be betting against Plymouth getting a point...
natives are restless in Plymouth... Facebook page has hundreds calling for Sturrock's head. i say all this, and if he puts together a run for 5 or 6 unbeaten, with some wins in there, we are out of relegation danger, and he's a hero...
oh... troubling times in Plymouth... we shall see though!!

Just back now, very long day and I dodn't have to go as far as most. Not a very good game, we were fairly poor, Newcastle were not great but fully deserved their win. I think that if we don't beat Forest next week Sturrock will surely go, we're already 4 points off safety, anything other than three points against Forest just isn't good enough.

Very big game for us on Sunday. We absolutely must win, anything less is just not good enough and would hopefully see the end of Sturrock's time in charge. I'll be sad to see him go, I wish it had worked out, it would have been amazing if he'd finished the job he started and taken us to the top but it's clearly not working and he must go. Also, as the club have been giving away free tickets, it'd be great to get a win and play good football as it might encourage some to come back.

you know... i hope for a win tomorrow... but dont really count on it.... as i was telling Phil Stagg a while ago... we are already in a relegation battle, good thing we have plenty of games left...
i think Luggy is on his way out... if we win, good for us, but i dont think he will survive the season

He has to be sacked now, before Peterborough. He is clearly no longer the man to keep us up. I wouldn't be suprised if he was still in charge next week though.

JJ did you get to watch yesterdays game, first half was OK, but the 2nd half was poor. The injury to Arnason hurt us, having 2 20 year olds on loan marking Blackstock and Adebola, it was impossible.
Rumour Seip to Blackpool on loan for a month, guess who we play on saturday?????
