ed... maybe you can buy someone a beer and they will let you sit while they drink it at least... that sounds like a LONG train ride though..
still envious... at least you get to see Argyle play... lets hope for a win

All the seats have been reserved, however it's very likely not all of them will be taken so hopefully I'll find an empty one. From what I've heard of Gow he'd be good for us, an attacking midfielded or striker so hopefully could set up some goals as well as scoring some himself.

Pleased Gow's signed, looking much better upfront now. According to Argyle Insider Luggy's still looking to get another couple of players in. Hopefully we can offload some players now, would like to see Ashley Barnes go out on loan somewhere, I think he has potential but he's unlikely to feature now.

here is a general LOAN question.... if we loan a player to a lower level club.. who pays the wages... same thing when we take the loan player from celtic.. who is paying his wages? Celtic or Argyle?

I think it depends on the deal, but as far as I know both clubs often pay part of the wages. I remember that when Aberdeen wanted to take Steve MacLean on loan they would only be paying part of the wages. I may well be wrong though and I'm happy to be corrected.

Gow should do well for Argyle, he proved himself in the Championship with Blackpool, and he was great with Falkirk whenever i saw him.
Sadly this is a classic case of a promising SPL player moving to Rangers/Celtic and rotting in the reserves...I always rated him, think he'll prove to be a bargain.

Kickoff for home opener with QPR five minutes away. :D

After giving up a 43rd-minute goal, Plymouth ties it in injury time to gain a point that did not appear it was coming with a 1-1 draw. Obviously it's not good to keep drawing games, but two draws is a lot better than a draw and a loss.

No, but I do sometimes browse the chat there. I was especially amused by the people knocking Summerfield being included in the lineup for the first game and then him doing an outstanding job since then. :D
Since I'm at work, I will keep my reading of and posting to message boards at a minimum today, but will likely peruse it, and maybe contribute, on Saturday.

And a penalty makes it 3-0. Chopra again for a hat trick.
Wow, this is not turning out well at all. :(
