It seems we have a new trialist, Zoltán Szélesi, a Hungarian right back. He sounds decent from what I've read on pasoti.

We beat the Romanian champions today, sounds like it was a decent performance in the second half, although apparently the trialist didn't do well.

I'm hoping to be at the Hearts game, I'm staying with relatives fairly nearby, just have to find a way to get there. I'm going mad from lack of football, I've not managed to get to any local preseason games so I've been without football since the Barnsley game and that was so dreadful I don't want to think about it.

Rumours of going out is Doumbe to Millwall ( he played an pre-season game for them last saturday) Folly may be released and we cant get rid of Walton, no one wants him.

Bit of blow for the season, in the behind closed doors game last night, Bradley Wright Phillips was stretchered off and will be out probably for 2 months with a knee injury. http://www.pafc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10364~1744380,00.html
Gow has not yet signed, but hopefully tomorrow.

Apparently the Plymouth Evening Herald is running a story saying that you're after Cillian Sheridan on a 6mth loan deal.

Hey guys. I just wanted to pop in and say that I am going to finally go all in and support Plymouth Argyle as my favorite European club. Over the past several years I have at times followed Celtic and Paris Saint-Germain, but this year I am going to place most of my time and interest in PAFC.
Even though following Celtic reminded me a little bit of my time working in the University of Tennessee athletics department (really big football club in both cases), Plymouth Argyle reminded me more of the college football team (and community) of where I grew up, the University of Nevada (medium-sized team/city, but passionate and prideful support base in both cases).
Also I really like how Plymouth is right on the water, the club's use of the color green and that the Mayflower took off from there (I believe I'm a descendant of somebody on that ship). And I have followed the club off-and-on for the last several years, so I know a little bit about the club (not as much as many of you, of course, but enough to know that, for example, Paul Wotton was a great player for Plymouth). I also have - and am - playing as them in Football Manager, which really helps to get to know a team.
I will always support a local American side most of all, partly because I feel it is important to support a club in your own country first and partly because it is so much more fun to actually be able to attend games in person as opposed to solely on television and the Internet. But there is always room to also support a European club.
Anyway, I just wanted to pop in and say that I am going to give it a go as to putting most of my European football time into Plymouth Argyle. I have subscribed to the World package so I can listen to as many live games as possible. With most games at 7 a.m. here on the West Coast, that is a perfect time in that it is not too early and not too late. And I will just take longer lunches during many of the midweek 11:45 a.m. contests.
It all gets started tomorrow morning. I'm fired up! :D
