7th is good and with a tiny bit of luck we could easily be well in the play off places..Everyone is taking points off each other in this league. It is very hard to predict a score. We do need Mpenza and Gallagher fit and playing though.Their quality is clear to see in comparison to the rest of the team. The work rate is good from all of the players but you expect that from a Sturrock team.

where did we get Mpenza from? i know he is belgian, but did he come from a club in france? and Gallagher, where did we get him from? can we lock him up on a contract, or is he strictly on loan...

good win for us none the less

Big MLS day here Phil... Columbus Crew vs NY Redbulls.... whats your prediction??

I say Columbus 2 Juan Pablo Angel and the Redbulls 0

He had been at Man City but was released..He came to us very very unfit and it has taken the club until now to get him able to play for 70 minutes(and he is earning £10000 a week. Not a bad wage for going to the gym.
As for the MLS..No idea about any of the teams..Is Pele still playing over there lol

Not seen anything of him yet but I wish him well..The story goes that he asked Sturrock what happens at the end of the season. He did not realise he still got paid during the close season:).
0-0 draw awat to Southampton this evening. Not brilliant but we stay 7th

Draw away and win at home and you will have a successful season.

Well said....but we have an annoying habit of loosing silly games..Looks like Doumbe is out for six weeks now.We are desperately short of quality in our squad.Hopefully we can make some more signings in January or get in some good loan players. We are currently in a good position in the league and it would be great to capitalise on it.Would be amazing to be in the play offs at the end of the season. Not yet been to the New Wembley.

Phill, I have'nt heard of Doumbe being out, I think you mean Duguid being out for that length of time.

Rumour i have heard is David Gray from Man U. coming on loan he is a FB, also a possibility of a CM maybe someone from Sheff U.

The loan time frame closes tomorrow (thursday)

someone tell me this ..... how can you be leading 1-0 at home, with 13 min left and then give up 2 goals to lose?!???!?!?!?!?

are you effing kidding me???? another 2 points DROPPED with less than 15 min to play....

at home no less.... that surely had to send the 4500 in attendance home THRILLED about coming out to Home Park again...

oy... is it just me? seriously, is it?? this just pisses me off!!!

FA Cup draw....

well.... we have Arsenal at the Emirates.... is this good or bad?? yeah, we will get some of their gate and make some money, but it wont be a full house, and we will probably go right out...

myself, i preferred the run we had 2 years ago where we lost out after several good wins... i think we lost to Watford at home... good buzz about the city im sure with that cup run..

so... we get pounded at Arsenal, take our pay check and go home... OR... is there an upset in the making???

knowing our luck, we will be up 2 goals with 5 min to go, and end up losing.. :(

from the "Are you kidding me file" --- we are losing to Doncaster, 2nd from the bottom team, 1 -0 just 2 min before half time...

i just dont get it.. we give up late goals, we let weaker lower level teams score on us....

un-**********in-believable!!!

I think the players were all thinking of the Arsenal game and not worrying about a team bottom of the league and had only scored 9 goals this season.

The final score should have been at least 3-0, yet we had one shot that took a world class save to stop it from going in.

Final score 1-0, and we have Birmingham on tuesday, probably another defeat.

see... thats just crap... too worried about a flippin cup match, that doesnt count worth shite.. and lets be honest... with Arsenal out of the carling cup, they arent gonna mess around with a CCC side... they put us away 3-0 at half is my guess...

but to lose to a 2nd from the bottom team... thats horrible... hang this loss on Luggy.. he shouldnt have let the team look past Doncaster..
